NMT Spherical Roller Bearings: Long-Term Lubrication Stability, Anti-Degradation and Anti-Coking Performance
Lubrication is the core guarantee for the long-term stable operation of spherical roller bearings. Most heavy industrial equipment runs continuously for 24 hours all year round, and the bearings are in a long-cycle uninterrupted working state. Ordinary bearings are limited by ordinary lubricating grease and simple sealing structure. After a period of high-load and high-temperature operation, the internal lubricating grease is prone to oxidation, deterioration, emulsification and drying. Under the action of high temperature and friction heat, the deteriorated grease will gradually form hard coke deposits, adhere to the surfaces of rollers and raceways, cause bearing jamming, operation jitter, increased friction and abnormal wear. In severe cases, it will lead to bearing stuck failure and equipment shutdown, which is one of the main reasons for frequent maintenance and short service life of traditional heavy-duty bearings.
Aiming at the industry pain points of easy grease deterioration and coking of traditional bearings in long-term continuous operation, NMT Japan has built a set of exclusive long-term stable lubrication protection system for spherical roller bearings from lubricating grease formula, internal oil storage structure and external sealing protection. NMT industrial special high-temperature and anti-aging lubricating grease is adopted, which is added with high-efficiency antioxidant, anti-coking and adhesion additives. It has excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance, and can effectively resist grease aging and deterioration caused by long-term friction heat and high-temperature radiation. It will not dry out, emulsify or deteriorate in high-load, humid and high-temperature composite working conditions, and can always maintain uniform and stable lubricating state.
In terms of structural optimization, NMT optimizes the internal oil storage groove and oil guide structure of the bearing, which can store sufficient lubricating grease and realize slow and uniform oil supply during operation, avoiding lubrication failure caused by rapid grease loss. Different from ordinary bearings that rely on simple gap lubrication, NMT's directional oil guide design can continuously deliver lubricating grease to the friction contact surface, form a dense and durable protective oil film, isolate metal direct friction, and greatly reduce the heat generation coefficient of bearing operation. The excellent heat dissipation and heat resistance fundamentally suppress the generation of grease coking, ensuring that the internal lubrication system is always clean and efficient.
Matching with the high-performance lubrication system, NMT adopts multi-layer composite sealing structure to completely isolate external dust, moisture and high-temperature oxide dust from entering the bearing interior, preventing external impurities from polluting the lubricating grease and causing deterioration and coking. Whether it is high-temperature operation of metallurgical kiln equipment, humid and dusty operation of mining machinery, or long-term continuous operation of cement production equipment, it can maintain long-term stability of internal lubrication, avoid frequent grease replacement, and realize real long-cycle low-maintenance operation.
NMT spherical roller bearings with long-term anti-degradation and anti-coking lubrication performance effectively solve the chronic problems of traditional bearings such as easy grease failure, serious coking and short lubrication cycle. They reduce the manual maintenance workload and material replacement cost caused by lubrication failure, avoid equipment shutdown losses caused by lubrication faults, and provide lasting and stable lubrication protection for long-term continuous production of heavy industrial equipment, helping enterprises achieve low-consumption and high-efficiency stable operation.
