NMT Spherical Roller Bearings: Micro-Dust Resistance & Anti-Clogging Performance, Adapt to Cement and Mine Powder Working Conditions

 

Cement production, mineral processing, quarry mining and other industrial scenarios belong to typical high-concentration micro-dust working environments. A large amount of fine powder and suspended dust float in the air all year round. Ordinary spherical roller bearings have simple single-layer sealing structures with poor isolation effect on tiny dust particles. Fine dust is easy to penetrate into the bearing interior, mix with internal lubricating grease to form abrasive mud, cause blockage of internal oil passages, unsmooth rotation and increased friction. Hard powder particles will continuously scratch the raceway and roller surfaces, resulting in severe abrasive wear, pitting and peeling. In severe cases, the bearing will be stuck and failed, which greatly shortens the service life of the bearing and leads to frequent maintenance and replacement of mining and cement equipment.
Aiming at the problem of easy dust blockage and wear of bearings in powder working conditions, NMT Japan has innovatively upgraded the sealing and anti-clogging system of spherical roller bearings. The product abandons the traditional single rubber sealing structure and adopts a multi-stage labyrinth composite dust-proof structure, which forms multiple barrier protection layers from the outside to the inside. The tortuous flow channel design can effectively block and settle tiny suspended dust and fine powder particles, fundamentally preventing dust from entering the bearing interior.
In terms of anti-clogging optimization, NMT optimizes the internal oil storage and oil guide structure of the bearing, with smooth and unobstructed oil passages, which avoids grease deposition and powder agglomeration blockage. The specially formulated anti-powder lubricating grease has strong anti-pollution and anti-agglomeration capabilities. After mixing with a small amount of dust, it will not form hardened abrasive blocks, and can still maintain good lubricating fluidity, effectively reducing abrasive wear caused by dust invasion.
The upgraded tight-fit sealing design eliminates assembly gaps, further improving the dust isolation ability of the bearing. Whether it is long-term operation in high-concentration cement powder environment or harsh working conditions of mine rock powder and gravel dust, NMT dust-proof and anti-clogging bearings can keep the internal structure clean and unobstructed, without blockage, jamming and abnormal wear. All products have passed long-term dust cycle operation tests, with stable anti-dust performance and strong working condition adaptability.
