NMT Spherical Roller Bearings: Low Temperature Toughness & Anti-Brittleness Performance, Adapt to Cold Region and Low-Temperature Industrial Equipment
Industrial equipment in alpine cold regions, outdoor mining machinery, low-temperature refrigeration production lines and other facilities often operate in ultra-low temperature environments below -20℃. Ordinary spherical roller bearings are made of ordinary carbon steel, which is prone to low-temperature brittleness in ultra-low temperature environments. The structural toughness decreases sharply, and slight impact and vibration will cause brittle cracking of bearing parts. In addition, ordinary lubricating grease will freeze and solidify at low temperature, losing lubricating fluidity, resulting in bearing dry friction, jamming and difficult rotation. These problems lead to frequent failure and short service life of bearings in low-temperature environments, seriously affecting the normal production and operation of cold-region industrial equipment.

The product adopts imported low-temperature toughened alloy bearing steel, which undergoes special low-temperature cryogenic treatment process. It maintains excellent structural toughness and mechanical activity in ultra-low temperature environments of -40℃ to normal temperature, without embrittlement, hardening and performance attenuation, and effectively resists low-temperature brittle fracture caused by external vibration and impact.
In terms of structural optimization, NMT adopts integrated seamless forming technology for bearings, which eliminates structural gaps and stress concentration points that are easy to crack at low temperature. The optimized flexible fit structure adapts to the slight shrinkage of metal materials in low-temperature environments, ensures the flexibility and accuracy of internal parts fit, and avoids jamming and rotation failure caused by low-temperature shrinkage and dimensional deviation.
Matched with low-temperature performance, the bearing is equipped with special low-temperature antifreeze lubricating grease, which has excellent low-temperature fluidity. It will not freeze or solidify in ultra-low temperature environments, always maintains uniform and smooth lubricating oil film protection, solves the problem of lubrication failure of traditional bearings at low temperature, and ensures stable and flexible rotation of bearings in cold and frozen environments. All products have passed ultra-low temperature cycle operation tests, with stable low-temperature performance and no failure in long-term cold environment operation.
