NMT Insert Bearings Easy-Mount Self-Aligning Durable Wear-Resistant Bearings
In agricultural machinery, conveying equipment, construction machinery, fans and various field-operation equipment, bearing operating conditions are far from ideal. Seed drills working in the field run continuously for weeks in blowing dust; grain conveyors operate day and night in extremely high dust-concentration environments; construction machinery moves repeatedly through mud and gravel—dust, sand, moisture, vibration and frequent start-stop impacts place demands on bearing reliability far beyond ordinary industrial applications. The outer surface of the insert bearing outer ring is spherical, forming a spherical mating relationship with the corresponding spherical bearing housing bore to achieve self-aligning capability. When equipment frames experience slight deformation from welding stress, foundation settlement or impact loads, insert bearings automatically adjust shaft position within a certain angular range, compensating for misalignment and shaft deflection while isolating additional stress from the bearing interior.
In terms of sealing performance, NMT insert bearings undergo deep engineering optimization. Both sides feature standard contact-type rubber seals combined with flinger ring designs, creating multiple protective barriers inside the bearing. External dust, sand and moisture are blocked by the first line of sealing; even if a small amount of fine dust penetrates the outer layer, the built-in flinger ring uses centrifugal force to expel it away from the bearing core area, ensuring rolling elements and raceways remain clean and lubricated. In grain storage conveyors where cereal dust fills the air, NMT insert bearings operate continuously through entire harvest seasons while maintaining excellent internal lubrication condition.

The setscrew locking structure is simple and reliable for conventional load conditions; the eccentric locking collar provides enhanced anti-loosening protection in severe vibration applications.
