The third layer: Mosaic-type auxiliary seal. A tortuous maze channel is designed between the sealing ring and the inner ring. Even if a small amount of water breaks through the first two lines of defense, the maze channel can discharge it through centrifugal effect.
For conditions exposed to salt water, sugar, or particles, NMT further enhances sealing performance and designs removable lubricant channels. For abrasive slurry and dust environments, a splash oil ring (oil ring) is added on the basis of 2RS sealing.
