Speed note: The 15° small contact angle reduces friction torque and heat generation during high-speed operation. DT tandem arrangement delivers amplified unidirectional axial load capacity but cannot sustain reverse axial force or large overturning moment. Factory matching accuracy is fixed. Disassembly, separate usage or random combination with other single bearings are prohibited.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7006 CD/P4ADT is a factory-matched tandem duplex angular contact bearing set in 7006 size with 15° high-load D-type design, composed of two precision selected single bearings, integrated bearing steel rings. D-type raceway optimizes load distribution on rolling elements.
This unit is supplied as matched duplex assembly. Matching tolerance is preset at factory; disassembly and recombination are prohibited. Open design supports grease lubrication and oil-air high-speed lubrication; no lubricant pre-filled.
Bearing steel provides high hardness, good wear resistance and dimensional stability. The 15° contact angle balances high-speed performance and axial rigidity. DT tandem configuration superimposes load capacity in one direction, greatly improving unidirectional thrust capacity, while anti-overturning performance is limited. No factory preload is supplied; axial positioning relies on external mechanical structures.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 15° D geometry + Factory DT tandem matched set: Superimposed unidirectional axial load capacity while maintaining excellent high-speed performance.
2. Precision factory matched assembly: High coaxiality after installation, lower running vibration and convenient assembly.
3. Bearing Steel Substrate: Good anti-fatigue and wear resistance, stable precision under prolonged high-speed rotation.
4. P4A Ultra-Precision Grade: Strict rotary runout control to guarantee rotational accuracy at high speed.
5. Open Seal-Free Construction: Eliminates seal friction loss, optimizes heat dissipation and fully compatible with high-speed oil-air lubrication systems.
4 Typical Application Scenarios
4.1 Precision Spindles with Continuous Unidirectional Axial Load: Deep hole machining spindles, unidirectional feed grinding spindle units.
4.2 Supports for Precision Hydraulic & Pneumatic Rotary Joints: Unidirectional thrust support of high-pressure rotary mechanisms.
4.3 Rotary Fixtures with Fixed Load Direction for Test Equipment: High-speed support seats with constant load orientation.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A high-precision duplex bearing sets must be assembled in dust-free clean environment. Thoroughly remove burrs and contaminants on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never strike bearing rings or raceways directly. Install the complete set as delivered; disassembly for separate mounting is forbidden.
5.2 Matching Layout & Preload Instructions
This bearing is factory pre-matched DT tandem duplex unit. Do not disassemble, swap or combine with other single bearings. DT structure only withstands axial load in one direction; confirm load direction matches bearing orientation during mounting. No factory preload. Use shaft shoulders, spacers and end caps for axial limitation; avoid forced bidirectional preloading.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant inside bearings. Oil-air lubrication recommended for continuous operation near speed limits; premium high-speed grease applicable for intermittent medium-low speed operation. Do not mix different lubricant grades. Inspect lubrication supply pipelines periodically.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Contact SKF to obtain reference limiting speed values. Reserve a 15%~25% safety margin for loaded operation; maximum permissible speed decreases as axial load rises.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Implement staged low-speed running-in after assembly. Monitor temperature rise and vibration continuously before raising speed to nominal operating level. Open structure offers no dust protection; external labyrinth or contact dust seals must be installed for machining environments.
Maintain stable lubrication supply to prevent dry friction. Reverse axial impact loads are strictly forbidden. In case of abnormal temperature rise, excessive vibration or noise, check load direction, lubrication status and mounting coaxiality.
