Note: The 25° contact angle delivers outstanding axial load capacity for conditions with cutting axial thrust and radial loads. All-steel construction possesses good toughness and slight impact resistance with favorable cost performance. DGA grade undergoes dual sorting of end-face height and load, ensuring even load distribution and lower spindle vibration after duplex mounting. Supplied as loose singles for flexible duplex spindle layout design. Open structure eliminates seal drag and fits oil-air lubrication system. Independent lubrication system and external dust protection are mandatory. Use same-batch DGA grade bearings for duplex assembly to minimize assembly deviation.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7010 ACD/P4ADGA is a size 7010 high-speed precision all-steel angular contact ball bearing. Inner rings, outer rings and steel balls are ultra-precision ground from premium bearing steel. The 25° contact angle reinforces axial load capacity to steadily withstand combined radial and axial loads. Adopting high-standard DGA sorting process, single bearings feature high consistency of end-face height, providing superior coaxiality and lower vibration after duplex combination.
Supplied as non-pre-matched single bearings, multiple duplex layouts including DB, DF and tandem are optional. Technicians achieve precise preload setting with spacers and shims. The low-friction open bearing is widely equipped on machining center spindles, high-speed engraving & milling spindles, precision grinding spindles and other machinery.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 25° contact angle: Excellent axial load capacity to sustain combined radial and axial cutting loads.
2. All-steel construction: Good toughness, slight impact resistance, high cost performance and stable spare parts supply.
3. P4A precision grade: Strict rotary runout control to maintain long-term machining accuracy.
4. DGA dual-sorted duplex-capable single bearing: Graded by face height and load, uniform load distribution and reduced vibration after duplex assembly.
5. Open unsealed structure: Free of seal resistance loss, fully compatible with oil-air high-speed lubrication.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A precision bearings must be assembled in dust-free clean environment. Remove all burrs and metal debris from shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never strike bearing rings or steel balls directly. Select same-batch DGA grade bearings for duplex assembly to reduce height difference and uneven load.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
No factory duplex assembly. All duplex layouts and target preload are set on-site with spacers and shims. DGA sorting grade serves only as selection reference. Measure spindle axial rigidity and vibration after assembly to verify actual preload state. Avoid excessive preload which causes overheating and premature bearing fatigue failure.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Special high-speed spindle grease suits intermittent high-speed operation. Oil-air lubrication is preferred for continuous long-running high-speed applications to remove friction heat efficiently. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or models. Inspect lubrication pipelines regularly.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Obtain official load ratings and limiting speed data from SKF. Its maximum DN value is lower than hybrid ceramic bearings of the same specification. Maintain adequate safety margin based on load and cooling conditions; reduce operating speed under heavy load.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Perform multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly. Gradually increase rotating speed to rated value only after temperature rise and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof device must be installed on equipment.
Sustain continuous and stable lubrication; dry friction operation is prohibited. In case of abnormal temperature rise, abnormal noise or sharp vibration growth, check lubrication supply, mounting coaxiality, preload shim thickness, operating load and integrity of dust protection sequentially.
