Note: The 25° contact angle provides excellent axial load capacity for working conditions with simultaneous axial thrust and radial loads. All-steel construction has good toughness and resistance to minor impact with balanced operating cost. QGC grade adopts comprehensive sorting on face height, internal clearance and load uniformity, realizing even load distribution, lower spindle vibration and noise after duplex mounting, ideal for precision finishing. Supplied as loose singles to support flexible duplex layout design according to spindle force analysis. Open structure removes seal drag and matches oil-air lubrication system. Independent lubrication system and external dust protection are required. Use same-batch QGC grade bearings for duplex assembly to minimize assembly deviation.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7010 ACD/P4AQGC is a size 7010 high-speed precision all-steel angular contact ball bearing. Inner rings, outer rings and steel balls are ultra-precision ground from premium bearing steel. The 25° contact angle improves axial load capacity to steadily carry combined radial and axial loads. Equipped with strict QGC comprehensive sorting process, single bearings maintain tight consistency on dimension and clearance, offering superior coaxiality and smooth operation from low to high speed after duplex combination.
Supplied as non-pre-matched single bearings, multiple duplex layouts including DB, DF and tandem are available. Precise preload can be set with spacers and shims. This low-friction open bearing is widely installed on vertical machining center spindles, high-speed engraving & milling spindles, precision die grinding spindles and other high-precision machinery.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 25° contact angle: Outstanding axial load capacity to withstand combined radial and axial cutting loads.
2. All-steel construction: Good toughness, minor impact resistance, stable cost and convenient spare supply.
3. P4A precision grade: Strict control of rotary runout to sustain long-term precision machining performance.
4. QGC comprehensively sorted duplex-capable single bearing: Controlled tolerance on height, clearance and load, lower vibration and noise under duplex operation.
5. Open unsealed structure: No seal drag loss, fully compatible with oil-air high-speed lubrication.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A precision bearings shall be assembled in dust-free clean workshop. Remove all burrs and metal debris from shaft and housing fitting surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never hit bearing rings or steel balls directly. Select same-batch QGC grade bearings for duplex assembly to reduce height difference and uneven load distribution.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
No factory duplex assembly. All duplex layouts and target preload are set on-site with spacers and shims. QGC sorting grade is only a selection reference. Measure spindle axial rigidity and vibration after assembly to confirm actual preload. Excessive preload leading to overheating and premature fatigue failure must be avoided.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Special grease for high-speed spindles applies to intermittent high-speed operation. Oil-air lubrication is preferred for continuous long-time high-speed running to remove friction heat efficiently. Do not mix greases or oils of different brands and models. Check lubrication pipelines regularly.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Obtain official load ratings and limiting speed data from SKF. Its maximum DN value is lower than hybrid ceramic bearings of identical size. Reserve sufficient safety margin according to load and cooling conditions; reduce running speed under heavy load.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly. Gradually raise speed to rated value only after temperature rise and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof device must be installed on equipment.
Maintain continuous and stable lubrication; dry friction operation is forbidden. In case of abnormal temperature rise, abnormal noise or sharp vibration increase, inspect lubrication supply, assembly coaxiality, preload shim thickness, working load and dust protection integrity sequentially.
