Full Product Attributes

Contact form: two-point contact

Number of rows: single row single bearing

Matching mode: GA general selected unit, freely combinable DB/DF/DT on site

Precision class: P4A ultra-precision grade

Material: All-steel precision bearing (steel rings + steel rolling elements)

Seal: Open type, no seal

Note: The 18° CE balanced contact angle provides higher axial rigidity than 15° CD series and better limiting speed than 25° ACE heavy-load series, balancing rotational speed and cutting rigidity. GA general selected batch controls face height deviation, better consistency than standard unsorted single units, more cost-effective than GB premium selected versions, ideal for mass production spindle projects. This all-steel bearing has no insulation performance. Not applicable for built-in motor spindles with shaft current, suitable for belt-driven equipment.

Open structure removes seal drag; continuous oil-air lubrication is mandatory. Long-term high-speed operation with grease is not recommended. No built-in dust shield; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof structure must be installed on equipment.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

Japan NMT 7012 CEGA/P4A is size 7012 ultra-precision all-steel single angular contact ball bearing with 18° contact angle and GA general selected grade. Inner & outer rings and steel balls adopt mirror ultra-precision ground high-carbon chromium bearing steel. GA sorting process reduces batch face height difference. The 18° contact angle geometry supports both high-speed finishing and medium-load milling.

Designed for mature general machines such as belt-driven engraving & milling machines, small machining centers and mold spindles, balancing performance and procurement cost, suitable for mass-produced equipment without extreme matching precision requirements.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. 18° CE balanced contact angle: Balances limiting speed and axial rigidity, adapts to composite working conditions of high-speed finishing and medium-load cutting.

2. GA general selected sorting: Face height screened for convenient paired assembly with outstanding cost performance.

3. P4A ultra-precision grade: Good rotational accuracy reduces spindle runout at high speed and guarantees workpiece surface finish.

4. Open non-sealed construction: Zero seal friction loss, fully compatible with oil-air lubrication system for long continuous high-speed operation.

5. Mature all-steel construction: Stable and reliable material with low maintenance cost, suitable for large-scale application in belt-driven machines without shaft current.

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

P4A ultra-precision all-steel bearing should be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean environment. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Adopt controlled thermal mounting and limit heating temperature; open flame heating is forbidden. Never strike the bearing, impact will cause permanent raceway damage. Bearings from the same GA selected batch are preferred for pairing.

5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions

Supplied as independent GA selected single bearings without factory pre-matching; DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem layout can be arranged on site. Light to medium preload is recommended for balanced working conditions. Heavy preload is forbidden for long continuous ultra-high speed operation to avoid thermal seizure.

Selection guide: ①Built-in motor spindle with shaft current risk →hybrid ceramic model 7012 CE/HCP4A; ②High matching precision required for high-end equipment →upgrade to GB premium selected 7012 CEGB/P4A; ③Extreme ultra-high speed light cutting →15° series 7012 CDGB/P4A; ④Heavy cutting high rigidity demand →25° ACE series.

5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions

No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous high-speed operation. Special high-speed spindle grease is only allowed for short intermittent low-speed running. Install high-precision filters on oil circuit to maintain lubricant cleanliness; do not mix lubricants of different brands or specifications.

5.4 Speed Parameter Note

Limiting DN speed surpasses 25° ACE series and is lower than 15° CD high-speed series. Reserve sufficient speed safety margin under continuous medium load; avoid prolonged operation near limiting speed.

6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting

Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; gradually increase to rated speed only after temperature rise and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust sealing cannot be omitted.

Maintain continuous supply of clean lubricant to prevent dry friction caused by oil shortage. In case of abnormal heating, continuous noise or sudden vibration change, inspect sequentially: oil supply & lubricant cleanliness, over-limit preload, assembly coaxial accuracy, dust seal condition, cutting load.
