Note: ACD outer-ring guided cage is suitable for long continuous high-speed operation with smooth lubricant passage. The 25° contact angle provides larger axial load capacity than standard 20° AC type for heavy axial force conditions. The core advantage of QBCC universal matching lies in flexible inventory management. Engineers can configure DF, DB, DT layout on site according to spindle design requirements. DB back-to-back assembly realizes wider support span and much stronger resistance to overturning moment compared with DF arrangement, ideal for milling, heavy cutting, 5-axis machining with continuously changing cutting force and large tilting moment. This all-steel bearing has no insulation performance. Hybrid ceramic version should be selected for built-in motor spindles with shaft current erosion risk. Open construction eliminates heat generated by seal friction and matches oil-air forced lubrication system perfectly.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7014 ACD/P4AQBCC is premium 25° contact angle all-steel super precision universal matched angular contact ball bearing. Inner and outer rings adopt high-carbon chromium bearing steel, stabilized heat treatment and aging eliminate residual processing stress. Raceways go through multiple ultra-precision mirror grinding processes to maintain high standard surface roughness. Equipped with solid outer-ring-guided cage moving along outer ring track, featuring low vibration and smooth lubricant circulation under high speed.
Steel rolling elements feature mature stable performance and obvious cost advantage where shaft current erosion does not exist. Each single bearing is independently ground on end faces, which is the foundation of QBCC universal matching without fixed pairing restriction and flexible inventory control. When assembled in DB back-to-back arrangement, wider distance between support points greatly improves anti-overturning capacity, capable of bearing radial loads and bidirectional alternating axial loads simultaneously. Open non-sealed structure avoids temperature rise caused by contact seal friction and fits various medium & high speed precision cutting equipment. Individually supplied bearings help enterprises unify stock items for multi-type spindle projects and reduce bearing inventory varieties.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. ACD 25° contact angle with solid outer-ring guided cage: Sufficient axial load capacity, outer ring guidance ensures stable high-speed running and smooth lubricant flow.
2. All-steel bearing construction: Mature mass production process, easy maintenance, cost-effective without electric erosion risk.
3. QBCC universal free matching design: Independently ground single units, any two bearings of same model can form DB back-to-back set, flexible inventory for diversified spindle schemes.
4. ISO P4A super precision grade: Precisely controls radial and axial runout to guarantee stable machining accuracy during long-term operation.
5. Advantages of DB back-to-back assembly: Wider support span, outstanding anti-overturning performance, suitable for alternating cutting loads and milling applications.
6. Open non-sealed construction: Eliminates seal friction loss and extra heat source, perfectly compatible with oil-air forced circulation lubrication.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4 grade universal matched bearings are recommended to be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting method is preferred; direct open-flame heating is forbidden. Do not strike bearing rings to prevent indentations on raceways.
Important reminder: QBCC universal bearings can be freely paired with identical model products. Mixing with bearings of different series, precision grades or matching codes is prohibited, which will cause mismatched pairing, excessive vibration.
5.2 Pairing & Preload Instructions
Supply condition: Individually packaged, no fixed matched counterpart.
Recommended layout: DB back-to-back; DF face-to-face or DT tandem layout can be adopted based on design drawing.
Selection tips:
Heavy milling cutting, alternating loads and large tilting moment → Prefer DB back-to-back arrangement with this QBCC bearing;
Heavy bidirectional axial loads, minor overturning moment, priority on axial rigidity → Select DF fixed DGC matched bearing set;
Long-term continuous unidirectional axial load → Adopt DT tandem matched bearing set.
Recommended preload: Standard preload for low-medium speed heavy cutting; light preload for high-speed finishing; heavy preload must be avoided near limiting DN value.
Selection reference:

② Built-in motor spindle needing anti-electrocorrosion protection, DB layout →7014 ACD/HCP4AQBCC hybrid ceramic universal bearing
③ Factory fixed DF face-to-face set for standardized mass-production spindles →7014 ACD/P4ADGC DGC matched set

5.3 Lubrication Matching Scheme
No pre-filled grease. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is recommended for continuous long-hour high-speed finishing; high-grade synthetic spindle grease can be used for medium-low speed intermittent equipment. Precision filters must be installed in lubrication pipelines because hard contaminants easily scratch mirror raceways. Mixing lubricants of different brands or base oil types is forbidden.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Solid outer-ring guided cage adapts to prolonged continuous operation. Efficient cooling system and sufficient speed safety margin must be arranged for long-duration full-load operation to avoid raceway fatigue damage caused by sustained overheating. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; external sealing components against dust and cutting fluid must be installed on bearing housing to prevent contaminants invading raceway contact surfaces.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly, monitor temperature rise and vibration step by step. Increase speed to rated level only after all indicators stabilize. Inspect integrity of external dust seal on bearing housing regularly since open bearings lack built-in dust protection.
Continuously supply clean lubricant to avoid dry friction damage caused by insufficient oil. When continuous abnormal noise, overheating or vibration surge appears, check items sequentially: lubricant cleanliness, preload setting, assembly coaxiality, bearing installation direction, external impact overload, foreign matter entering raceway. Monitor operating temperature regularly to detect early failures such as raceway pitting and cage abrasion.
