Note: ACE inner-ring guided cage brings lower friction loss and higher limiting DN value than outer-ring guided versions, suitable for ultra-high speed spindles. 25° contact angle balances radial load capacity and axial rigidity. Low-density ceramic balls reduce centrifugal force at high speed and isolate shaft current to eliminate electric corrosion on built-in motor spindles. ALDGA DF back-to-back arrangement extends support span, delivers outstanding resistance to overturning moment and withstands bidirectional alternating axial loads, perfectly suitable for milling and composite machining. Compared with DT tandem layout, the unidirectional axial load capacity is relatively lower. Open construction avoids heat caused by seal drag and requires oil-air lubrication system.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

Japan NMT 7014 ACE/HCP4ALDGA is premium 25° contact angle hybrid ceramic super precision angular contact ball bearing, factory pre-matched DF back-to-back set. Inner and outer rings adopt high-carbon chromium bearing steel with stabilized heat treatment to remove residual stress. Raceways are processed by multi-stage ultra-precision mirror grinding for consistent surface quality. Equipped with solid inner-ring-guided cage following inner ring track, delivering excellent control on vibration and temperature rise under ultra-high rotating speed.

Silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements feature light weight, high rigidity and outstanding friction resistance. The insulation property of ceramics cuts off shaft current circuit and prevents electrical pitting on raceways and balls. ALDGA means two bearings are end-face co-ground at factory and supplied as integrated DF back-to-back set. DF configuration expands effective support span to resist spindle deflection and evenly bear axial loads from two directions. Open non-sealed structure eliminates friction heat from contact seals and meets demand of long-term continuous high-speed operation. Serial-number bound set guarantees consistent pairing accuracy, ideal for mass assembly of milling and composite machining motor spindles.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. ACE 25° contact angle with solid inner-ring guided cage: Low friction loss at high speed, higher limiting DN ceiling, suitable for prolonged continuous ultra-high speed finishing.

2. HC hybrid ceramic silicon nitride balls: Lightweight rolling elements reduce high-speed centrifugal load, insulate and block shaft current to avoid electric corrosion failure of motor spindles.

3. ALDGA factory fixed DF back-to-back matched set: Two bearings co-ground and bound together, enlarged support span, excellent anti-overturning performance, evenly accommodates bidirectional axial loads.

4. ISO P4L high-speed optimized super precision grade: Tolerance standard optimized for high-speed conditions, strictly controls rotational runout to sustain stable machining accuracy.

5. Advantages of DF back-to-back layout: Wide separated support points, strong bending rigidity, applicable for working conditions with alternating loads and tilting moment.

6. Open non-sealed construction: No extra heat source from seal friction, smooth lubricant flow, perfectly compatible with oil-air forced circulation lubrication.

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

P4L high-precision matched set bearings shall be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting method is preferred; direct open-flame heating is forbidden. Do not strike bearing rings to prevent indentations on raceways.

Important reminder: ALDGA is serial-number locked DF back-to-back set. The two bearings cannot be split or cross-matched with any other bearings. Splitting will destroy matching precision and lead to severe vibration and abnormal temperature rise.

5.2 Pairing & Preload Instructions

Supply condition: Packed as bound two-piece set, splitting prohibited.

Fixed layout: DF back-to-back arrangement.

Selection tips:

Bidirectional alternating axial loads, milling applications, tilting moment, electric corrosion risk → Prefer 7014 ACE/HCP4ALDGA hybrid ceramic DF back-to-back set;

Long-term stable unidirectional axial load, high-speed drilling & grinding → Choose DT tandem matched bearings;

On-site flexible adjustment of DB/DF/DT layout → Select universal single matched bearings.

Recommended preload: Light preload for high-speed finish milling; standard preload acceptable for medium-low speed heavy cutting; heavy preload shall be avoided when operating near limiting rotating speed.

Selection reference:

① Ultra-high speed, bidirectional alternating loads, anti-overturning for milling, anti-electrocorrosion for motor spindle, mass production assembly →7014 ACE/HCP4ALDGA hybrid ceramic DF back-to-back set

② Ultra-high speed, unidirectional axial load, no tilting moment, drilling & grinding →7014 ACE/HCP4AL1DT hybrid ceramic DT tandem set

③ Ultra-high speed, motor spindle insulation required, flexible layout adjustment on site →7014 ACE/HCP4ATBCC hybrid ceramic universal single bearing

④ Outer ring guidance, higher DN target, milling use →7014 ACD/HCP4AQBCC outer-ring guided DB universal matched bearing

5.3 Lubrication Matching Scheme

No pre-filled grease. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous ultra-high speed operation. Long-term grease lubrication is not advised due to risk of thermal carbonization. High-precision filters must be installed in lubrication pipelines; tiny hard particles can easily scratch mirror raceways and ceramic balls. Mixing lubricants of different brands or base oil categories is forbidden.

5.4 Speed Parameter Note

Inner-ring guided cage adapts to continuous operation within ultra-high DN range. The complete machine must be equipped with efficient cooling circuit and sufficient speed safety margin to prevent accelerated lubricant aging caused by persistent high temperature. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; bearing housing shall be designed with reliable external sealing against dust and cutting fluid to avoid contaminant intrusion.

6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting

Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly, continuously monitor temperature rise and vibration indicators. Only raise rotating speed to rated high speed after all data stabilize. Regularly inspect integrity of external housing sealing to block dust and cutting fluid ingress.

Continuously supply clean lubricant and eliminate dry friction caused by oil shortage. When steady abnormal noise, rapid temperature rise or growing vibration occurs, check sequentially: lubricant cleanliness, preload setting, assembly coaxiality, bearing installation direction, external overload impact, foreign matter entering raceway. Damage of ceramic balls excluding electric corrosion is mostly induced by foreign particles, assembly stress or improper preload. Regular temperature monitoring enables early detection of incipient fatigue damage.
