Model:N 1009 TN/SP

Dimensions

Bore d:45 mm

Outer diameter D:75 mm

Bore type: Standard cylindrical bore

Code Explanation

N: Single row cylindrical roller bearing, inner ring double ribs, outer ring ribless, separable inner and outer rings

1009: Size series 10, size code 09, nominal bore 45 mm (ultra-light cross-section for light high-speed spindles)

TN: Solid polyamide roller-guided cage, lightweight and low friction for high-speed service

/SP: Super precision spindle grade, tighter tolerance than standard P4 class

Load Characteristics

Permitted load: Radial load only; axial load capacity negligible and cannot bear axial force independently

Structure: Separable design, inner ring double ribs, TN polyamide cage

Limiting speed: Excellent rotational speed due to slim 10-series cross-section and low-friction resin cage; oil-air lubrication delivers best performance

Pre-grease: No pre-filled lubricant, lubricant added on assembly

Logistics & Industry Codes

Net weight:0.21 kg

Indicative carbon footprint:0.29 kg CO₂e

eClass code:23-05-09-01

UNSPSC code:31171505

Suffix Explanation

N: Single row cylindrical roller bearing without outer ribs. Inner and outer rings separable, rollers constrained by inner ring ribs.

1009: Ultra-light 10 cross-section series with compact short rollers, optimized for light high-speed spindles.

TN: Standard polyamide roller-guided cage, low friction and low heat generation. Continuous operating temperature ≤120°C. Not reinforced, not recommended for sustained extreme high speed compared with TNHA.

/SP: Super precision grade with strict control on raceway geometry and rotational runout for precision cutting and grinding spindles.

Important reminder: Ribless outer ring cannot carry axial load alone. Spindle system must adopt matched precision angular contact ball bearings to support axial force. Continuous temperature above 120°C is prohibited for TN cage; upgrade to TNHA reinforced cage for extreme high-speed operation. Preload is fixed via spacers for straight bore design and cannot be adjusted after assembly. Hammer impact assembly forbidden; thermal mounting or hydraulic tooling recommended. Taper bore adjustable alternative: N1009 KTN/SP. Reinforced cage version: N1009 TNHA/SP. Higher precision: N1009 TN/UP. Stabilized heat treatment suffix VQ497 is optional.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

N 1009 TN/SP super precision single row cylindrical roller bearing adopts ultra-light 10-series cross-section balancing radial rigidity and high limiting speed. Standard straight bore fits mass production of spindle modules with preset preload controlled by spacers. TN polyamide cage minimizes friction and temperature rise at high speed. /SP ultra-precision machining reduces rotational runout and stabilizes finishing accuracy. Separable rings simplify assembly and replacement, suitable for standardized spindle mass production.

Selection reference:

N1009 TN/SP (straight bore standard polyamide cage + SP grade, mass-produced preset-preload light high-speed spindle modules)

N1009 KTN/SP (1:12 taper bore standard polyamide cage SP grade, spindles with adjustable preload on assembly)

N1009 TNHA/SP (straight bore reinforced polyamide cage SP grade, sustained extreme high-speed applications)

N1009 TN/UP (straight bore polyamide cage UP ultra-precision for high-end grinders)

7009 angular contact ball bearings: Paired to bear spindle axial loads.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. Ultra-light 10-series single-row roller construction delivers sufficient radial rigidity and high limiting speed for light high-speed spindles.

2. Standard cylindrical inner bore compatible with standardized spindle modules; preset preload via spacers suits mass assembly.

3. TN polyamide roller-guided cage is lightweight with low friction, generating less heat under high-speed rotation.

4. /SP super precision grade ensures minimal rotational runout to satisfy accuracy demands of high-speed precision cutting and grinding.

5. Separable inner and outer rings simplify assembly, maintenance and bearing replacement for standardized spindle units.

4 Typical Application Fields

4.1 Mass-Produced Light-Duty High-Speed Precision Spindle Modules

High-speed engraving & milling machine spindles, standardized high-speed CNC lathe spindles, compact internal grinder spindle units

4.2 High-speed rotary units with standardized assembly and no on-site preload adjustment

Modular high-speed grinding heads, compact precision CNC dividing units, small high-speed rotary tables

4.3 Rotary machinery with medium radial load, pursuing high speed & low temperature rise, adopting spacer preset preload

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

Precision bearing assembly shall be performed in clean, dust-free constant-temperature workshop. All mating components must be thoroughly cleaned from chips and contaminants. Preload is controlled by precision spacers; forced squeezing to achieve preload is forbidden. Never strike bearing face; thermal mounting or dedicated hydraulic tooling is preferred. Conduct extended no-load temperature run-in after assembly. Shaft journal and housing bore geometric tolerances must comply with /SP precision spindle bearing requirements. Observe TN cage temperature limit to avoid long-term over-temperature operation.

5.2 Selection Guidance

Mass production standardized modules, spacer preset preload, light high-speed duty → N1009 TN/SP

On-site flexible preload adjustment required → N1009 KTN/SP

Equipment runs continuously at extreme high speed, reinforced cage needed → N1009 TNHA/SP

Ultra-high rotational precision required → N1009 TN/UP

Significant axial load exists: Combine this bearing with matched 7009 series precision angular contact ball bearings.

5.3 Lubrication Maintenance Instruction

No lubricant pre-filled at factory. High-speed spindle grease for medium-low speed; oil-air lubrication recommended for high speed. Long-term oil bath lubrication not advised. Target steady-state temperature rise ≤25K; avoid continuous temperature over 120°C for TN polyamide cage. Inspect preload setting and lubrication supply if temperature rises abnormally and persistently.

5.4 Environmental Application Notes

No built-in seals. Spindle assembly shall be equipped with oil seals or labyrinth seals to prevent coolant and dust ingress. Long-term axial load and shock loads are prohibited; impact indentations permanently damage rotational precision. Frequent thermal cycling should be avoided to slow dimensional shift.

6 Fault Identification

Common failure modes: Abnormal temperature rise at high speed, progressive growth of spindle radial runout, periodic abnormal noise, raceway impact indentations, roller edge stress spalling. Stop equipment immediately once accuracy drops obviously or continuous abnormal noise occurs. Bearings with damaged raceways or rollers cannot be repaired and require complete replacement.
