NMT Spherical Roller Bearings: Moisture & Corrosion Resistance For Wet & Dust-Heavy Industrial Environments
Many heavy industrial sites such as mines, water conservancy machinery, chemical industry and building materials are in humid and dusty environments all year round, and some scenarios are accompanied by weak corrosive media such as fog and chemical dust. Ordinary spherical roller bearings have simple sealing structures and poor anti-corrosion ability. Moisture and dust easily invade the interior, causing internal rust, grease emulsification, dirt accumulation and roller clamping, resulting in bearing failure and equipment shutdown, which seriously affects the continuity of on-site production.
Aiming at the humid and dusty harsh environment pain points, NMT Japan upgrades the overall protection system of spherical roller bearings. The product adopts a multi-channel labyrinth sealing + double-layer contact sealing composite structure, which forms a multi-barrier protection system from the outside to the inside, effectively blocking external dust, moisture and corrosive media from invading the bearing interior, and fundamentally solving the problems of dust accumulation and moisture rusting.
In terms of anti-corrosion and moisture-proof performance, NMT bearings are treated with overall anti-rust passivation and super-hard anti-corrosion coating on the surface, which can resist humid air, sediment erosion and weak chemical corrosion for a long time, avoiding surface oxidation rust and internal structural corrosion. The special anti-emulsification lubricating grease is adapted to humid environments, which will not emulsify and deteriorate after contacting with moisture, maintaining long-term stable lubrication effect.
Even in long-term open-air humid operation, dusty workshop operation and occasional corrosive environment contact, NMT moisture-proof and anti-corrosion spherical roller bearings can maintain flexible rotation and stable performance without rusting or clamping. Widely used in mining machinery, water conservancy equipment, chemical heavy machinery and building materials production equipment, they greatly reduce the failure rate of bearings in harsh environments and become a reliable protective accessory for industrial equipment adapting to complex working conditions.
