NMT Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings High-Speed High-Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings With Combined Axial And Radial Load Capacity For Industrial Robots, Machine Tool Spindles, High-Speed Motors And Precision Instruments

High-precision high-speed rotating equipment such as industrial robot joints, high-speed machine tool spindles, precision CNC rotary tables, high-speed motors, medical imaging equipment and aero-engine accessories are subjected to radial loads and axial loads simultaneously during operation, forming combined load conditions. As equipment speeds continue to increase, extremely high demands are placed on bearing limiting speed, rotational accuracy and temperature rise control. Ordinary deep groove ball bearings have limited axial load capacity. When facing larger axial loads, they cannot form a stable oil film at the contact angle, leading to rapid friction temperature rise and accuracy decline. Using multiple sets of bearings would significantly increase axial length and structural complexity of the equipment.

Most precision high-speed equipment requires maintaining micron-level positioning accuracy and rotational accuracy during continuous operation. Minor differences in internal clearance, contact angle and preload are amplified into vibration and temperature rise at high speeds, directly affecting machining quality and equipment life. Frequent start-stop cycles require smooth starting torque and running torque, which directly impacts response speed and power consumption. The industry urgently requires bearings that can withstand bidirectional axial and radial combined loads in compact spaces, adapt to high-speed operation, and maintain high precision and low heat generation over the long term.

NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed to simultaneously withstand radial loads and bidirectional axial loads, optimizing internal load distribution through precisely calculated contact angles, suitable for high-speed and high-precision applications. Contact angles of 15°, 25° and 40° are available, allowing users to select according to actual load direction and magnitude. Cages are manufactured from high-strength copper alloy, polyamide or PEEK materials, adapted to grease lubrication, oil-mist lubrication and oil-air lubrication methods.

Rolling elements are manufactured from high-purity bearing alloy steel or silicon nitride ceramic, precision-machined and superfinished to mirror-like surface roughness. Inner and outer rings undergo forging, precision grinding and superfinishing. All components receive quenching heat treatment and long-term low-temperature stabilization processing to achieve high surface hardness with good core toughness, balancing wear resistance and impact resistance. High-precision cages accurately guide rolling element motion, preventing collision and tilting for smooth, low-noise operation. Products are available in P5, P4 and P2 precision grades, suited to different speed and accuracy requirements.

Products adopt international standard dimensions with excellent interchangeability. Comprehensive specifications suit various high-speed motors, precision spindles, industrial robot wrist and arm joints, medical CT rotation mechanisms, aero servo mechanisms and other precision equipment. The bearings adapt to continuous high-speed operation, frequent start-stop and varying load direction conditions.

Quality Assurance

NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings are manufactured from premium refined bearing alloy steel or silicon nitride ceramic. Incoming inspection includes chemical composition testing and metallurgical sampling inspection to eliminate material defects at source. Rolling element blanks are precision-machined, followed by sequential rough grinding, finish grinding and superfinishing with strict control over sphericity error and surface roughness. Stress relief annealing is conducted after rough machining of inner and outer ring forgings to eliminate internal stress, followed by quenching and low-temperature stabilization treatment to reduce dimensional variation risks under long-term operation.

All rolling elements pass flaw detection screening to remove parts with cracks and dents. All components go through high-pressure cleaning and dust-free drying before assembly in clean workshops. Appropriate grease is filled according to practical operating conditions and lubrication methods. After assembly, finished bearings undergo combined load endurance testing, high-speed rotational accuracy inspection, temperature rise testing and friction torque testing. All unqualified products are eliminated completely to guarantee stable and consistent performance of bulk goods and supply reliable combined load bearing solutions for precision high-speed equipment.
