NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings High Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearings For Machine Tool Spindles, Pumps, Valves And Robots
Angular contact ball bearings are composed of inner rings, outer rings, steel balls and cages. The raceways are designed with specific contact angles to bear radial loads and unidirectional axial loads simultaneously. Multiple assembly modes including back-to-back, face-to-face and tandem arrangement can be adopted to withstand bidirectional axial forces. They are widely used in precision rotating mechanisms requiring both high-speed operation and axial positioning. The products are extensively applied to CNC machine tool spindles, servo motors, hydraulic pumps, precision valve groups, industrial robot joints, high-speed air compressors, precision textile equipment, testing instruments and other high-end equipment.
Compared with deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings feature built-in contact angles and stronger axial load capacity, suitable for working conditions with obvious axial thrust. However, they cannot bear bidirectional axial loads independently and usually need to be used in pairs. Different from cylindrical roller bearings, steel balls serve as rolling elements in point contact, achieving higher limiting rotating speed yet relatively weaker heavy radial load capacity, making them more suitable for precision high-speed scenarios with moderate loads. Precision processing equipment and industrial robots impose strict requirements on spindle rotation accuracy, rigidity and temperature rise control under high speed. Ordinary angular contact ball bearings on the market generally suffer from insufficient precision of raceway profiles, large tolerance of steel ball grouping and poor consistency of preload matching. Severe vibration, excessive temperature rise and rapid accuracy loss easily occur during long-time high-speed operation, directly affecting processing precision and operational stability of equipment.
NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings own a complete product line covering mainstream series such as 7000,7200,7300, equipped with various contact angles including 15°,25°,30°,40°. Open type and rubber sealed types are optional. Pre-matched sets including universal arrangement, back-to-back, face-to-face and tandem arrangement are available. Solid cages and stamped steel cages are supplied. Precision grades range from standard class, P6, P5 to P4, fully meeting supporting demands of precision machine tools, automation equipment and fluid machinery.
With continuous upgrading of intelligent high-end manufacturing, CNC machine tools and industrial robots pursue higher rotating speed, positioning accuracy and long-term accuracy retention. Alternating axial thrust frequently acts on bearings during continuous high-speed operation. Higher standards are raised for bearing high-speed rigidity, low temperature rise, consistency of matched sets and fatigue durability, aiming to extend accuracy maintenance cycles of precision equipment and reduce spindle disassembly and maintenance frequency. Conventional angular contact ball bearings lack sufficient optimization on raceway curves. Obvious stress concentration emerges on contact areas under high-speed rotation, and large clearance dispersion exists among matched bearings. Vibration keeps increasing during operation and lubricating grease deteriorates rapidly under heat, failing to satisfy all-day continuous high-speed operation requirements of precision equipment. Automation equipment manufacturers are in urgent need of high-performance angular contact ball bearing solutions with high precision, low heat generation and stable rigidity.
NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings adopt optimized curve profiles for inner and outer raceways to improve contact condition between steel balls and raceways, effectively dispersing contact stress and restraining heat generation under high-speed working conditions. A high-precision steel ball grading system strictly controls roundness and dimensional tolerances to reduce size dispersion. Ultra-precision mirror grinding technology is applied on inner and outer raceways to improve surface finish and geometric precision. Heat treatment processes are continuously upgraded to reasonably balance hardness and toughness of steel and strengthen anti-fatigue performance under long-term alternating loads. Guide structures of cages are optimized to lower stirring friction under high speed and stabilize operating temperature rise. Standardized matching and screening procedures guarantee unified preload parameters of complete bearing sets, delivering high-precision support for various precision high-speed rotating mechanisms.
NMT Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed with preset contact angles. Single bearing can only withstand unidirectional axial load, and bidirectional axial restriction can be realized via multiple matched installation modes. Models with small contact angles focus on high-speed performance, while versions with large contact angles possess stronger axial rigidity. Open types facilitate accurate replenishment of high-speed lubricating grease. Rubber sealed structures prevent invasion of dust and tiny impurities, suitable for maintenance-free precision units. Solid cages feature excellent rigidity for ultra-high-speed spindle working conditions; stamped steel cages have lighter weight, adapting to small and medium-sized servo motors and robot joints. All steel balls go through multi-stage precise sorting before assembly to ensure uniform load distribution and avoid early raceway pitting caused by local stress concentration. The products are widely matched with machining center spindles, servo drive motors, high-pressure hydraulic pumps, precision fluid control valves, multi-joint industrial robots, high-speed spinning equipment and precision testing instruments.
High-purity vacuum-degassed bearing steel is selected for inner and outer rings. Multi-directional forging refines internal grain structure. Segmented constant-temperature quenching and tempering balances surface wear resistance of raceways and matrix impact toughness to resist fatigue damage caused by high-speed alternating loads. Multi-layer ultra-precision grinding and honing are carried out on arc raceways of inner and outer rings to optimize surface micro-morphology, facilitate stable formation of lubricating oil film and reduce heat and vibration generated by high-speed friction. All finished products pass geometric precision inspection, steel ball grouping verification, axial clearance sorting, high-speed temperature rise endurance test, matching consistency inspection and sampling fatigue life verification. Defective workpieces are eliminated to guarantee stable and unified precision indicators of mass-produced bearings.
Multiple options of contact angles, sealing types, cage styles and precision grades are available. International standard outer dimensions ensure excellent interchangeability for convenient assembly, commissioning and replacement of spare parts for precision equipment.
