NMT Deep Groove Ball Bearings General-Purpose High-Speed Wear-Resistant Deep Groove Ball Bearings For Motors, Fans And Water Pumps
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used basic rolling bearings in industry. Featuring arc-shaped deep raceway grooves, they can bear large radial loads and bidirectional light axial loads simultaneously. With compact structure, low friction coefficient, high limiting speed and easy maintenance, they are divided into open type, double-sided metal shield ZZ and double-sided rubber seal 2RS to adapt to clean workshop, dusty, humid and outdoor waterproof conditions. Covering full 60, 62, 63, 64, 16000 series, they are standard matching bearings for three-phase asynchronous motors, cooling fans, water pumps, gear reducers, air compressors, conveyor rollers, home appliances and small construction machinery.
Compared with roller bearings, deep groove ball bearings have lower rotating resistance, excellent high-speed mute performance and outstanding cost versatility. Different from angular contact ball bearings, they realize radial and axial composite load bearing with single installation without paired assembly for lower assembly difficulty. The disadvantage is insufficient bearing capacity under heavy load and strong impact, not applicable for heavy impact equipment such as mine crushers and large rolling mills, mainly for long-term high-speed operation of small and medium rotating equipment.
General industrial motors, cooling fans and circulating water pumps operate with frequent start-stop cycles under dusty, humid and weak acid mist environments. Conventional bearings suffer from seal aging, dust/water intrusion, grease drying, ball pitting and outer ring creep noise. Ordinary deep groove ball bearings have rough raceway machining, low-grade steel balls, poor anti-aging seals and uneven hardness after heat treatment, leading to loud noise, excessive temperature rise and seizure in short service life, resulting in motor stator sweeping, pump water leakage and fan unbalanced vibration, increasing daily maintenance expenses.
NMT deep groove ball bearings cover full 6000, 6200, 6300, 6400, 16000 series with open, ZZ metal shield and 2RS contact rubber seal options. Stamped steel cages are standard, with nylon cages optional for low-noise high-speed operation. Standard and C3 enlarged clearance, normal and P6 precision grades adopt international standard dimensions for direct replacement of all domestic and imported deep groove ball bearings for industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, home appliances and air compressors.

High-carbon chromium bearing steel with overall quenching delivers stable uniform hardness, anti-pitting wear on surface and sufficient matrix toughness to resist impact from frequent start-stop.
