NMT Spherical Roller Bearings Heavy-Duty Spherical Roller Bearings For Fans, Crushers, Roller Presses & Mining Vibration Equipment
Spherical roller bearings adopt double-row barrel-shaped rollers and spherical outer ring raceway structure with powerful self-aligning capacity, compensating eccentric angular errors caused by shaft bending, base deformation and installation misalignment. Meanwhile, the roller line-contact structure supports ultra-large radial load with certain axial load capacity. They are core bearings adapting to eccentric, vibration and heavy-load composite working conditions for fan main shafts, mine crushers, cement roller presses, ball mills, vibrating screens, metallurgical roller tables and large reducers.
Main model classification: 23000 (wide compact heavy-duty), 23100 (wide cross-section high load capacity), 22200 (standard general-purpose), 22300 (thickened roller extra heavy-duty). Cage structures include CA, CC, MB and E types for selection according to low-speed heavy load, medium-speed fan and high-frequency vibration scenarios.
Compared with cylindrical roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings, the exclusive spherical self-aligning structure avoids bearing seizure and premature burnout under eccentric force caused by shaft deflection. Different from tapered roller bearings requiring paired installation, a single set can bear combined radial and axial loads with greatly advanced vibration resistance. The main limitation is lower limiting speed than cylindrical roller bearings, unsuitable for high-speed precision rotating shafts, more applicable to heavy-duty equipment with low speed, continuous vibration and poor installation alignment.
Mine crushing, cement roller pressing, industrial induced draft fans and vibrating screening equipment operate under long-term material impact vibration, frame deformation, shaft deflection and sand dust intrusion. Inferior spherical roller bearings suffer insufficient spherical precision of roller profile and uneven quenching hardness of outer ring spherical surface, leading to edge stress concentration and roller fragmentation under eccentric rotation. Insufficient cage rigidity causes fatigue cracking under continuous vibration. Simple sealing structure allows dust to enter raceways and cause abrasive wear, rapidly enlarging bearing clearance, resulting in abnormal fan vibration noise, crusher main shaft runout, unstable roller press pressure and vibrating screen amplitude deviation. Consequences include main shaft fracture, frame cracking and full-equipment shutdown overhaul, bringing huge production suspension losses for industrial and mining enterprises.
NMT spherical roller bearings cover full specifications of 22200, 22300, 23000 and 23100 series with complete structures: CA brass cage, CC stamped steel cage, MB solid cage and E reinforced roller. Bearings are manufactured with electroslag remelting high-purity raw materials. Superfinishing grinding is applied on spherical raceways of inner and outer rings, and bionic spherical precision shaping for barrel roller profiles to strictly control spherical curvature matching. High-temperature tempering stabilizes metallographic structure before delivery. Optional thickened skeleton oil seal and labyrinth double seal are pre-installed. Standard international mounting dimensions support direct replacement of imported and domestic spherical roller bearings for new equipment assembly, maintenance and overhaul of mine fans and grinding equipment.
New energy wind turbines, large mine grinding and cement building materials equipment are upgraded toward high power, 24-hour continuous operation and strong vibration conditions. Conventional spherical roller bearings feature poor spherical fitting, small effective roller load-bearing area and weak dustproof sealing. Long-term vibration causes raceway spalling, roller fragmentation and grease failure leading to dry grinding seizure, failing to meet service requirements of alternating load for wind power main shafts, high-pressure impact of roller presses and high-frequency reciprocating vibration of vibrating screens. The market demands heavy-duty spherical roller bearings with high aligning precision, vibration resistance, wear resistance and long-term dustproof performance.
NMT barrel rollers undergo integral bionic spherical precision grinding for full-area fitting with outer ring spherical surfaces to evenly distribute load under eccentric deformation and eliminate failure from local stress fragmentation. Deep quenching hardening on spherical raceways of inner and outer rings delivers uniform spherical hardness and significantly improved resistance to pitting and spalling in dusty abrasive environments. Multiple cage options are available: cost-effective CC stamped steel cages for conventional grinding equipment, high-temperature and vibration-fatigue-resistant CA brass cages for wind power and high-temperature induced draft fans. Standard contact skeleton oil seal can be upgraded to labyrinth + oil seal composite seal to block intrusion of mine powder, cement ash and gravel. Optimized internal lubrication groove design enhances grease retention to prevent high temperature from oil shortage during long continuous operation.
All finished bearings pass aligning angle simulation test, alternating vibration fatigue test, spherical profile inspection and dustproof sealing durability test to eliminate defective products with spherical out-of-roundness and roller precision defects, ensuring stable long-term operation of vibration heavy-load equipment.
Core Product Advantages
Spherical outer ring + double-row barrel roller structure automatically compensates shaft bending and installation eccentricity to prevent eccentric load seizure and shaft burnout.
Double-row roller line-contact bearing delivers ultra-large radial load capacity to withstand alternating impact load and axial component force.
High-precision spherical matching enables full arc fitting between rollers and raceways to avoid edge stress damage under vibration.
Multiple cage selections: brass cages adapt to high temperature and long-term vibration; stamped cages support cost-effective industrial and mining supporting.
Optional dual sealing solutions effectively block dust, water vapor and clinker impurities for harsh dusty environments of mines and cement plants.
Optimized oil groove oil storage structure realizes long-lasting lubricant retention to avoid high temperature caused by oil shortage during continuous operation.
Standard international overall dimensions support direct interchange for old and new fans, crushers and roller presses without base modification.
Outstanding anti-vibration fatigue performance adapts to alternating stress conditions of vibrating screens, vertical mills and fan main shafts.
Typical Application Scenarios
Wind power main shafts, boiler induced draft fans, dust removal fans, main shaft bearings of large centrifugal fans; main shaft bearings for jaw crushers, cone crushers, hammer crushers and mobile crushers; cement roller presses, vertical roller mills, ball mills, slag grinding equipment; linear vibrating screens, circular vibrating screens, vibrating bearings for feeders; metallurgical sintering roller tables, mill back-up rolls, heavy-duty gearboxes; port stacker-reclaimers, rotary kiln support rollers, large bucket wheel equipment.
Quality Assurance
NMT heavy-duty spherical roller bearings adopt vacuum smelting high-purity bearing steel to reduce internal inclusions and vibration fatigue sources. Form grinding and mirror polishing are applied on outer ring spherical surfaces for unified curvature tolerance and smooth alignment without jamming. Chamfer treatment on both ends of barrel rollers further weakens eccentric edge stress. Stress relief annealing is implemented for all cages to prevent deformation and cracking under continuous vibration. Nitrile rubber or fluororubber seals are adopted, with fluororubber seals for high-temperature fan scenarios. Bearings are classified into three clearance types before delivery according to working conditions: C3 large clearance (vibration equipment, crushers), C2 small clearance (precision fan main shafts) and standard clearance to accurately match equipment operating clearance and suppress operating temperature rise. Finished bearings withstand combined harsh conditions of continuous vibration, dust and impact for all-weather non-stop continuous production of industrial and mining enterprises.
