NMT Spherical Roller Bearings Heavy-Duty Self-Aligning Spherical Roller Bearings For Mines, Fans, Roller Presses & Crushers

Spherical roller bearings are double-row spherical roller heavy-duty bearings. The inner ring double raceway cooperates with the spherical outer ring raceway to deliver powerful self-aligning performance, which can compensate for coaxial errors caused by shaft bending deformation, base installation misalignment and shell machining deviation. Meanwhile, the roller line-contact structure bears ultra-large radial load and combined radial-axial load with outstanding vibration resistance, impact resistance and deformation resistance. They are core bearings for mining, building materials, metallurgy, power generation and other harsh-condition equipment, suitable for working scenarios of long-term vibration, heavy dust, poor centering and alternating impact heavy load.

Main model classification: 222 medium spherical roller series, 223 thickened heavy-duty spherical roller series, 230/231/232 wide ultra-heavy series. Two cage types: steel stamping cage and brass machined cage. Two bore types: cylindrical bore and tapered bore. Tapered bore can be directly mounted on the shaft with adapter sleeve for easy disassembly. C0 normal, C3 and C4 large clearance options are available for high-temperature heat generation conditions.

Performance comparison: Compared with cylindrical roller bearings, it adapts to shaft deflection and misalignment to avoid edge roller seizure from eccentric wear. Different from tapered roller bearings, single bearing realizes self-alignment and load bearing without paired installation for simpler layout. Compared with deep groove ball bearings, load capacity increases more than 5 times with prominent vibration and impact resistance. Shortcoming: low limiting rotational speed, not applicable for high-speed precision equipment; abrasive raceway wear occurs without timely grease maintenance.

Mining ball mills, vertical roller presses, stone crushers, industrial induced draft fans, cement rotary kilns, vibrating screens and steel sintering machines operate under intense long-term vibration, ore impact load, dust intrusion, frame deformation and spindle deflection all year round. Inferior spherical roller bearings suffer from insufficient spherical machining precision of rollers, leading to roller edge fragmentation once self-alignment fails. Thin quenching layer on raceways causes abrasive wear when dust impurities enter the bearing, resulting in rapid pitting and peeling on raceways. Thin steel cages crack and disintegrate under continuous vibration, scattering rollers to lock the main shaft. Poor inner bore precision leads to slipping between adapter sleeve and shaft bore, causing sharp temperature rise, severe equipment vibration, sharp mill noise, fan spindle rubbing and unstable pressure shutdown of roller presses. Overhaul of industrial and mining equipment is complicated, bringing huge losses from full production line shutdown.

NMT spherical roller bearings cover full specifications of 222, 223, 230, 231 and 232 series with complete cylindrical bore, tapered bore, steel cage and brass cage options. Manufactured from high-purity electroslag remelting bearing steel with overall tempering and deep quenching on spherical raceways. Precisely ground outer ring spherical contour ensures uniform force under large-angle deflection. Rollers adopt precise spherical forming and grouping for balanced double-row load distribution. Self-aligning angle reaches 1~2.5° to perfectly compensate frame deformation and shaft bending. Thickened stamped steel cages suit cost-effective vibration conditions, while integrated solid brass cages are designed for ultra-heavy continuous impact with strong fatigue and tear resistance. C3/C4 large-clearance models adapt to thermal expansion of high-temperature fans and rotary kilns to prevent bearing seizure. Tapered bore matches standard adapter sleeves for universal interchangeability without shaft machining during on-site maintenance. All dimensions comply with national standards for direct replacement of imported and domestic spherical roller bearings for mining equipment overhaul, new machine assembly and fan renovation.

Heavy-duty equipment for mining, building materials and metallurgy is upgraded toward all-weather continuous operation, vibration and dust resistance, long maintenance cycle and low failure rate. Ordinary low-grade spherical roller bearings have defects including poor spherical precision, excessive steel inclusions and weak cage strength, prone to self-alignment failure, roller breakage and premature bearing scrapping under vibration. They cannot meet the operation requirements of 24-hour grinding of ball mills, high-pressure extrusion of roller presses, impact crushing of crushers and year-round high-speed vibration of induced draft fans. The market is in urgent need of long-life spherical roller bearings with high-precision spherical surface, heavy vibration resistance and dust durability.

NMT adopts super-finishing grinding on outer ring spherical surface for smooth self-alignment without jamming. Full-circle roller fitting on raceways disperses stress. Deep-hardened raceways resist dust abrasion and heavy compression. Reinforced cages withstand continuous alternating vibration to avoid disintegration and roller scattering. All finished bearings pass self-aligning performance inspection, load impact test and temperature rise aging test to eliminate defective products with inaccurate contour, insufficient hardness and abnormal clearance. It ensures stable operation of heavy-duty rotating equipment under frame deformation and spindle bending to suppress vibration and abnormal noise.

Core Product Advantages

Double-row spherical self-aligning structure compensates shaft bending and installation centering deviation to avoid eccentric edge wear failure.

Line-contact combined load bearing adapts to radial-axial combined load with excellent resistance to ore impact and equipment vibration.

Dual cage selection: cost-effective steel cages and high-temperature heavy-load brass cages for different working condition grades.

Dual bore design of cylindrical and tapered bore; tapered bore with adapter sleeve enables easy installation for direct assembly during old shaft repair.

Multi-level clearance selection (C0/C3/C4) solves thermal expansion seizure and excessive temperature rise of high-temperature equipment.

Precisely formed and grouped spherical rollers realize balanced double-row force distribution to greatly extend fatigue service life.

Deep-quenched raceways withstand dust abrasive wear for longer service life under heavy dust conditions.

Standard national overall dimensions with strong compatibility for zero-machining replacement of new and old equipment.

Typical Application Scenarios

Main shaft bearings for mining ball mills, rod mills, vertical roller presses, cone crushers and jaw crushers; heavy support bearings for cement rotary kilns, coolers, vertical mills and vibrating screens; spindle bearings for power plant boiler induced draft fans, forced draft fans and large centrifugal fans; bearings for metallurgical sintering machines, cold bed roller tables and auxiliary mill rolls; bearings for large paper dryer cylinders, wood chip crushers and port bulk material conveying drums; heavy-duty rotating bearings for coal scraper conveyors and coal washing vibration equipment.

Quality Assurance

NMT spherical roller bearings adopt high-purity refined bearing steel to reduce internal inclusions and fundamentally improve anti-fatigue spalling performance.
