NMT Deep Groove Ball Bearings Precision High-Speed General-Purpose Deep Groove Ball Bearings For Motors, Water Pumps & Fans

Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used basic rolling bearings in industry. Adopting single-row steel balls and arc deep groove raceway structure, they can bear radial loads as well as bidirectional light axial loads. Featured by high limiting speed, low rotational friction coefficient, low operating noise and simple structure for easy installation and maintenance, they are divided into three major structures: open non-sealed type, single-side sealing (2Z/2RZ) and double-side sealing (2RS/2RS1). Sealed types effectively block dust, water vapor and oil contamination from entering the bearing cavity, suitable for most conventional rotating working conditions such as electric motors, pumps, fans, air compressors and conveying equipment, serving as essential general bearings for complete machine assembly and equipment maintenance.

Main model classification: 6000 thin series, 6200 standard medium series, 6300 thickened heavy-duty series, plus 6400 extra heavy-duty series and 16000 thin-wall series. Sealing structures: open type (no seal), iron shield dustproof (ZZ), rubber oil seal waterproof and dustproof (2RS). Clearance includes C0 standard clearance and C3 large clearance for high-speed high-temperature motors. Precision grades cover ordinary grade, P6 precision grade and P5 high-precision grade for precision motor applications.

Performance comparison: Compared with cylindrical roller bearings, it has outstanding high-speed performance and mute operation but weaker radial load capacity. Different from angular contact ball bearings, paired installation is unnecessary, and bidirectional axial limiting can be realized with lower structural cost. Compared with spherical roller bearings, it features compact size and extremely high upper speed limit, not applicable for eccentric heavy-load vibration conditions. Shortcoming: steel balls are prone to indentation and pitting under heavy impact load; seals tend to age and fail under long-term operation in harsh dusty and muddy environments.

Three-phase asynchronous motors, clean water pumps, sewage pumps, cooling fans, screw air compressors, belt conveyors, reducer input shafts, agricultural machinery and garden machinery run continuously at high speed all year round, accompanied by temperature rise, water splashing, dust drifting and alternating belt tension load. Inferior deep groove ball bearings contain excessive steel impurities, leading to rapid heat generation and seizure during high-speed rotation. Rough grinding texture on raceways causes sharp howling noise at high rotating speed. Poor-quality rubber sealing rings crack and allow water and dust intrusion after high-temperature grease aging, resulting in steel ball rust pitting and cage deformation & disintegration, directly causing motor stator rubbing burnout, abnormal pump noise & water leakage, fan unbalanced vibration and air compressor overload shutdown. Small bearing faults in civil and industrial equipment may easily lead to complete machine scrapping.

Standard clearance, C3 high-temperature large clearance and P6/P5 precision grades are available on demand. Manufactured from high-purity vacuum degassed bearing steel with super mirror finishing on raceways. High-precision graded steel balls ensure uniform circumferential clearance and excellent temperature rise control during high-speed rotation. Thickened nitrile rubber oil seals resist high temperature and hydrolysis; double-sided sealing effectively blocks water vapor and dust, while iron shield versions suit dry and dust-free indoor conditions. Riveted stamped steel cages stay tight without loosening or fracture under high centrifugal force. Long-life high-temperature grease is pre-filled before delivery for long-term continuous motor operation. All dimensions comply with national standards for direct interchangeable installation during motor maintenance, pump renovation and assembly line maintenance, compatible with replacement of various domestic and imported deep groove ball bearings.

General power machinery, small transmission equipment and civil electromechanical equipment are upgraded toward mute operation, long maintenance-free service life, high-speed stability and low failure rate. Ordinary low-grade deep groove ball bearings suffer from rough raceway machining, poor steel ball precision and insufficient high-temperature resistance of seals, resulting in harsh high-speed noise, excessive temperature rise and premature seal aging & water corrosion.
