NMT Deep Groove Ball Bearings General Precision Deep Groove Ball Bearings For Motors & Fans

Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used general bearing products for industrial applications. Featuring an integrated structure of single-row steel balls and curved deep groove raceways, they can bear rated radial load as well as bidirectional slight axial load. With compact structure, smooth rotation, high limiting speed and low operating noise, the products are divided into three major structures: open type, Z iron dust cover and 2RS rubber oil seal. Stamped steel cages are mainly adopted, while large-size models are equipped with solid cages. Compatible with one-time filling of long-life grease for maintenance-free operation and circulating thin oil lubrication, they are applicable to most conventional rotating equipment such as motors, fans, water pumps, small reducers, auxiliary parts of construction machinery and household appliances, serving as standard basic bearings for general machinery.

Main model classification: 6000 ultra-thin light-load series, 6200 standard general main series, 6300 thickened heavy-load series, 6400 extra-thick heavy-load series, 618/619 thin-wall ultra-thin precision series. Sealing types: OPEN open type, Z single-side iron dust cover, ZZ double-side iron dust cover, 2RS double-side rubber seal, RZ low-speed narrow seal. Precision grades: P0 general grade, P6 motor precision grade, P5 high-speed precision grade, P4 precision instrument grade. Clearance groups: C0 standard clearance, C3 increased clearance (for high-temperature adaptation of motors).

Performance comparison: Compared with cylindrical roller bearings, it has compact size, higher upper speed limit and lower noise, and can bear axial force, yet the radial load capacity is greatly reduced. Compared with angular contact ball bearings, paired installation is unnecessary with simple structure and lower cost, suitable for general working conditions rather than large axial preloading scenarios. Compared with spherical roller bearings, it is lightweight with excellent high-speed performance but no self-aligning capacity, requiring basic coaxiality for installation. Shortcoming: Steel balls are prone to indentation and fracture under heavy impact load, and groove raceways are easy to deform and fail under large axial load.

Three-phase asynchronous motors, cooling centrifugal fans, clean water pumps, gear reducers, air compressor heads, fan coil units, woodworking machinery and air-conditioning compressors operate continuously at high speed all year round with temperature rise, slight axial play and erosion by dust & moisture. Inferior deep groove ball bearings suffer from groove raceway peeling under high-speed rotation due to insufficient quenching hardness of raceways. Poor precision of steel ball size sorting causes sharp rise of vibration and noise from uneven multi-point stress. Loose buckle of dust cover and aging of rubber seal lead to water & dust intrusion and dry failure of grease. Thin cages deform and jam balls under high-speed centrifugation, directly resulting in abnormal noise & overheating burnout of motors, excessive vibration of fans, water leakage & seizure of pump bearings and noise shutdown of compressors, increasing equipment failure rate and maintenance frequency.

NMT deep groove ball bearings cover full-size series of 60, 62, 63, 64, 618 and 619 with sufficient stock for ZZ iron seal and 2RS rubber seal, as well as ample special motor models with C3 high-temperature clearance. Manufactured from high-purity bearing steel with integral quenching and tempering. CNC precision grinding and super-finishing polishing are applied to deep groove raceways, and the arc contour of raceways fits the motion track of steel balls to reduce sliding friction. High-precision graded steel balls are sorted and grouped with tiny dimensional errors to ensure uniform circumferential stress. Stamped steel cages feature excellent toughness, while large-size products adopt brass solid cages to suppress high-speed vibration. 2RS seals use aging-resistant nitrile rubber adapting to high & low temperature environments to effectively block intrusion of dust, condensed water and coolant. All dimensions comply with national standards for direct replacement of domestic and imported bearings during maintenance of motors, fans, water pumps and general machinery without modification of shafts and bearing housings.

General power equipment, ventilation & water supply equipment and light industrial transmission equipment are upgraded toward silent operation, long-cycle maintenance-free service, stable operation under temperature fluctuation and cost-effective accessories. Ordinary inferior deep groove ball bearings have rough groove machining, disordered steel ball precision and poor sealing performance, resulting in increased noise, dry grease and enlarged bearing clearance after short-term high-speed operation. They cannot meet the long-term service requirements of 24-hour continuous operation of industrial motors, alternating cold & heat of outdoor fans and humid water vapor environment of water pumps.
