What time tests is the bearing's ability to resist wear. Every revolution creates microscopic contact and separation between raceways and rolling elements. Over tens of thousands of hours and millions of revolutions, wear is inevitable. But the speed and uniformity of wear determine the attenuation curve of bearing accuracy.
