NMT Deep Groove Ball Bearings Precision Deep Groove Ball Bearings For General Motors
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used general rolling bearings, featuring an integrated annular deep raceway structure with excellent fitting between steel balls and raceways. They can bear radial load and bidirectional axial load simultaneously, adapting to both stable high-speed rotation and composite stress of slight eccentricity and axial play. Products are categorized into four sealing types: open type, single-sided rubber seal 2Z, double-sided rubber seal 2RS1 and double-sided metal shield Z. Cages include stamped steel cages, nylon plastic cages and solid brass cages. Performance comparison: Compared with cylindrical roller bearings, it can bear bidirectional axial force with low requirement for shaft alignment to simplify overall structural layout, yet its heavy radial load capacity is much weaker. Compared with angular contact ball bearings, single bearing can realize radial & axial limit without paired installation for higher cost performance but lower ultimate axial load capacity. Compared with spherical roller bearings, it has small volume, higher speed limit and low friction loss without large-angle self-aligning capability, so it is not suitable for working conditions with severe shaft deformation. Shortcoming: Steel ball indentation and plastic deformation of raceways are prone to occur under heavy overload; rubber seals may harden and leak oil after long-term high-temperature operation.
Industrial variable frequency motors, circulating water pumps, dust removal fans and assembly line conveyor rollers operate under long-term frequent start-stop, high-speed rotation, water vapor & dust intrusion and fluctuating temperature rise of frequency conversion. Inferior deep groove ball bearings have roughly turned raceways without superfinishing, causing harsh howling noise at high speed. Inconsistent roundness of steel balls leads to intense vibration and cabinet resonance of motors. Poor-quality sealing rubber cracks rapidly under high temperature, and intrusion of water vapor & dust results in raceway rust and pitting. Manufactured from vacuum degassed bearing steel, inner and outer ring raceways are processed by super-finish grinding to achieve accurate arc contour matching steel ball spherical surface for smooth rotation and low resistance. High-grade precision steel balls are selected by grading with tiny dimensional errors to guarantee low-vibration high-speed operation. Stamped steel cages serve cost-effective industrial supporting, nylon cages focus on low noise & friction, and brass cages are applied for high-temperature drying equipment. 2RS contact rubber seals adopt temperature-resistant nitrile rubber to block water vapor and dust, while ZZ metal shields fit dry dust-free high-speed working conditions. Long-acting composite grease is pre-filled before delivery to adapt to continuous operation in wide temperature range. All dimensions conform to national general specifications for direct replacement of old bearings on motors, water pumps and fans without modification of housing and shaft diameter.
