NMT Cylindrical Roller Bearings High-Speed Impact-Resistant Precision Roller Bearings for Reducers, Motors and Gearboxes
Cylindrical roller bearings are core precision bearings for industrial high-speed and heavy-duty transmission scenarios. Adopting a linear cylindrical roller and flat raceway line contact structure, different from the point contact of ball bearings, they feature extremely high radial load capacity and structural rigidity, capable of bearing huge radial impact loads and adapting to high-speed continuous operation, high torque and heavy-load precision transmission equipment. With separable inner and outer rings, easy assembly and disassembly, adjustable clearance and simple maintenance, the bearings have low friction coefficient, small temperature rise and high limit speed. They are widely used in industrial motors, hard-tooth surface reducers, gearboxes, fan main shafts, air compressors, machine tool spindles and heavy-duty conveying equipment, serving as key supporting components for high-speed precision transmission and stable heavy-duty operation.
NMT cylindrical roller bearings have a complete product portfolio, covering single-row structures such as N, NU, NJ, NF, NUP and double-row precision series NN and NNU. Reinforced heavy-duty thickened models, high-speed precision noise-reduced models and P5/P4 high-precision bearings specially for machine tools are also available. Full specifications of standard clearance, C3 and C4 increased clearance adapt to differential working conditions such as ordinary load, high-speed temperature rise and heavy impact. A large number of standard models are in stock for immediate delivery, supporting replacement of old imported equipment and matching of domestic equipment. Non-standard customization and processing are provided according to shaft diameter, speed and load parameters to meet precision assembly requirements of various industrial transmission equipment. Three cage configurations including stamped steel cage, nylon cage and solid brass cage fully cover high-speed silent, heavy impact and high-temperature continuous operation scenarios.
Compared with deep groove ball bearings and spherical roller bearings, NMT cylindrical roller bearings have prominent core advantages: ball bearings adopt point contact structure, prone to ball indentation, deformation and peeling under heavy pressure, unable to adapt to high-torque heavy-load conditions; spherical roller bearings focus on self-aligning compensation with low limit speed, not suitable for high-speed precision transmission. Adopting full-line contact load design, NMT cylindrical roller bearings have greatly improved radial rigidity, impact resistance and overload resistance far exceeding ball bearings, while maintaining low friction, low temperature rise and high-speed performance, perfectly meeting the long-term continuous high-speed operation needs of reducers and high-speed motors. The separable structure allows independent replacement of inner or outer rings without overall disassembly of the transmission main shaft, greatly reducing equipment maintenance difficulty and downtime.
High-power industrial motors, high-speed gear reducers, fan main shafts, air compressor hosts, machine tool spindles, printing machinery, high-speed textile equipment, metallurgical conveying roller tables and mine light-duty transmission equipment operate under complex conditions of long-term continuous high-speed operation, alternating high-torque load, instantaneous impact overload, oil temperature rise and slight dust erosion all year round. Low-end inferior cylindrical roller bearings generally have defects such as uneven roller size accuracy, raceway flatness deviation, insufficient heat treatment hardness, weak cage strength and non-standard assembly clearance. After long-term use, faults such as high-speed abnormal noise, excessive temperature rise, roller jamming, raceway pitting and peeling, cage fracture and roller scattering, and main shaft jitter are prone to occur, directly causing motor overheating, abnormal gear meshing of reducers, equipment precision deviation and production line shutdown. Frequent bearing replacement causes massive loss of manpower and material resources and seriously affects enterprise continuous production efficiency.
All NMT cylindrical roller bearings are made of high-purity vacuum degassed bearing alloy steel with dense structure and extremely low impurity content, fundamentally eliminating material looseness, fatigue cracking and early wear problems. The inner and outer ring raceways are processed by ultra-precision mirror grinding with accurate flatness and high surface finish without processing lines or concave-convex deviations. Matched with high-precision sorted cylindrical rollers with uniform size and roundness, the bearings bear uniform force during operation without local stress concentration, completely avoiding unilateral eccentric wear and roller jamming. The overall gradient quenching heat treatment ensures high surface hardness for wear and pitting resistance and tough core for impact and fatigue resistance, balancing high-speed operation stability and heavy impact tolerance to prevent fatigue failure under long-term alternating load.
Multiple structural styles accurately adapt to segmented working conditions: NU/N non-flange structure allows slight axial displacement of the shaft to adapt to thermal expansion and contraction in high-speed telescopic transmission and eliminate high-temperature seizure; NJ/NUP flanged structure has slight axial limiting capacity to bear small axial loads, stabilize the axial position of the main shaft and adapt to gearbox and reducer transmission scenarios; double-row NN/NNU structure doubles radial rigidity with dual parallel roller load-bearing, suitable for machine tool spindles and high-precision transmission equipment to ensure operational accuracy and stability.
Three types of cages adapt to different scenarios in a differentiated manner: cold-rolled steel stamped cage features light weight and low friction coefficient for high-speed low-load and silent precision transmission with low temperature rise and no resonance noise; glass fiber reinforced nylon cage has excellent self-lubrication, wear resistance and noise reduction for clean lubrication and medium-high speed continuous operation equipment; solid brass machined cage boasts strong structural rigidity, high temperature resistance and deformation resistance for harsh working conditions such as high-temperature heavy load, instantaneous impact and high-torque industrial reducers and metallurgical equipment.
All bearings undergo a full set of precision inspections before delivery, including raceway flatness detection, roller size sorting, non-destructive hardness flaw detection, high-speed temperature rise simulation, fatigue impact test and precise clearance grouping calibration. Standard, C3 and C4 large clearance models are strictly classified. Large clearance is standard for high-speed equipment to reserve thermal expansion margin and solve bearing jamming and overheating seizure caused by high-speed temperature rise. The operating temperature ranges from -25℃ to 150℃, compatible with lithium grease, extreme pressure grease, circulating oil and thin oil lubrication, adapting to various industrial transmission conditions.
Transmission equipment equipped with NMT cylindrical roller bearings operates with lower temperature rise, less noise and minimal main shaft runout, stable transmission accuracy and smooth gear meshing without impact, greatly reducing gear wear and equipment vibration. With excellent overload and fatigue resistance, the service life of the bearings is more than 3 times that of ordinary inferior cylindrical bearings, effectively reducing equipment failure shutdown times, extending maintenance cycles, cutting enterprise spare parts inventory and manual operation and maintenance costs, and ensuring 24-hour stable operation of industrial production lines.
Current industrial transmission equipment is upgrading towards high speed, precision, high torque and long-cycle continuous operation. Inferior cylindrical roller bearings have poor accuracy, low rigidity, easy overheating and weak impact resistance, failing to meet the operational needs of modern heavy industry, precision machinery and high-speed motor equipment. Relying on four core technologies including ultra-precision flat raceway processing, high-precision roller load equalization design, gradient toughness heat treatment and multi-structure modular adaptation, NMT solves industrial pain points such as high-speed temperature rise, heavy-load eccentric wear, roller jamming, cage fracture and precision attenuation, providing high-rigidity, low-temperature-rise and long-life professional bearing solutions for high-speed motors, precision reducers, machine tool spindles and industrial transmission equipment.
