NMT Stainless Steel Tapered Roller Bearings, Anti-Corrosion Heavy-Duty Bearings for Mine Washing & Separation, Stainless Steel Tapered Roller Bearings for Sand Washing Equipment Stock & Customization
Mine Mud Special Base Material for Rust & Slurry Corrosion Resistance
Sandstone beneficiation and mine washing equipment are immersed in turbid mud, sulfur-containing ore slurry and weak acid-base mineral processing reagents for a long time. Ordinary carbon steel bearings will be rusted through quickly, and raceways will be pitted by ore water corrosion. Coupled with continuous impact wear from sand and gravel, bearings are prone to locking and shaft breakage, directly causing full-line shutdown of ore washing production lines. Conventional thin-plate stainless steel bearings lack rigidity and are prone to deformation and cracking under sand impact, and corrosion accelerates sharply once the protective coating is worn away.
All components of NMT bearings including inner ring, outer ring, tapered rollers and integral cages are integrally machined from solid thickened stainless steel forgings. The base material inherently resists corrosion from sulfur-bearing mine water and weak acid & alkali reagents. No electroplated surface coating is adopted to eliminate coating peeling failure. The raceway adopts hard turning + mirror superfinishing to greatly improve surface hardness, which can resist chemical corrosion of ore slurry and reduce ploughing wear on raceways caused by sand particles. Even if the equipment is shut down intermittently with accumulated water soaking, continuous rust spots will not form. It fundamentally solves the pain points of easy rust, rapid wear and frequent jamming of bearings on mine water washing equipment.
Composite Load Structure of Tapered Rollers for Alternating Heavy Loads of Ore Washing Equipment
When spiral ore washers and drum stone washers operate, the drum is fully loaded with sand and gravel materials, and the drive shaft bears huge static radial load. Equipment startup/shutdown and material eccentric load bring violent axial thrust leading to reciprocating shaft displacement. Ordinary ball bearings only bear radial force, and the cage is prone to fragmentation and bearing collapse under axial force, resulting in huge disassembly and maintenance workload.
The inclined contact structure of tapered rollers evenly distributes combined radial and axial force over the entire contact raceway to reduce surface pressure at a single point and buffer impact load caused by eccentric material load. The rolling elements are surface quenched for outstanding resistance to extrusion and particle indentation. Under 24-hour continuous sand washing operation, the internal working clearance of bearings remains stable without obvious shaking of the drive shaft. The two ends of the drum are supported stably to reduce cascading failures such as drum deformation, flange tearing and shaft-end seal damage, ensuring continuous and stable operation of the sand washing production line.
Triple Protection Sealing Structure to Prevent Mud & Sand Intrusion into Bearing Cavity
Two customized sealing structures are developed for mine conditions featuring heavy sediment, mud splashing and reagent infiltration:
Basic Sealing for Sand Yard: Double-layer metal dust cover + rigid nitrile rubber oil seal blocks coarse sand, broken stones and dry ore powder from entering bearings, suitable for upper support points of dry belt conveyors and mud-stone separators.
Reinforced Sealing for Water Immersion: Triple protection composed of fluorine rubber double-lip oil seal, labyrinth mud diversion groove and outer thickened metal shield prevents mud and turbid ore water from penetrating into bearing inner cavity, avoiding emulsification and failure of lubricating grease diluted by muddy water. Ideal for drum ore washers, spiral classifiers and underwater tailings conveying bearing positions.
The sealing rubber is made of special compound resistant to mineral reagent corrosion and sand cutting, resisting tearing and hardening aging under mud immersion and sand friction. It blocks sediment accumulation inside bearings for a long time and prevents rolling element abrasion damage caused by sediment grinding.
In-Stock Supply & Custom Manufacturing for Emergency Mine Repair & Equipment Renovation
The factory maintains regular stock of mainstream stainless steel tapered roller bearings for mine sand washing equipment including 32007, 32008, 32207 and 32208. Fast delivery is available for sudden shaft locking failure of sand yard equipment and planned spare parts replacement of mineral processing plants to shorten production line downtime and reduce sandstone output loss.
Customized services meet various renovation demands of mine equipment: thickened tapered rollers for heavy-load scenarios to increase ultimate load capacity; large clearance customization to adapt to thermal expansion during high-temperature mud operation; split cage design for easy disassembly at narrow drum shaft ends; lengthened and widened bearings for main shafts of large water washing drums; corrosion-resistant grease-free bearings for tailings positions with high reagent corrosion. Customers only need to provide physical bearing samples or equipment drawings for rapid dimensional surveying and verification. Small-batch samples are delivered quickly, and mass production is scheduled for delivery to replace imported industrial anti-corrosion bearings and sharply cut procurement costs of mine equipment accessories.
Multi-Dimensional Factory Reliability Inspection to Meet Safety Standards for Industrial & Mining Equipment
Four core inspections are implemented for finished products before delivery to meet strict requirements of mine heavy-load corrosion conditions:
Acid-base salt spray corrosion test: 72-hour acid ore slurry salt spray test to verify corrosion resistance against mineral processing reagents.
Mud wear immersion test: Rotation test with circulating sediment immersion to verify sealing performance against sediment.
Ultimate static pressure load test: Simulate full-load sand and gravel compression to verify bearing anti-fracture performance.
Full inspection of clearance and dimensions to guarantee assembly coaxiality and avoid premature wear caused by abnormal assembly clearance.
All unqualified products are scrapped directly to prevent defective bearings from being put into use and triggering equipment accidents. Bearings from the same batch feature strong consistency in dimension, clearance and corrosion resistance, enabling unified spare part model management for mine maintenance departments and simplifying warehouse inventory management and regular inspection & replacement work.
Full-Link Technical & Commercial Service for Mine Engineering, Maintenance & Foreign Trade Business
Pre-sales technical engineers accurately match bearing materials, sealing forms and internal clearance specifications according to equipment load tonnage, rotating speed, dry/wet conditions and ore slurry pH value, avoiding capital waste caused by insufficient anti-corrosion grade or over-performance. Practical guidance on hot assembly and clearance adjustment of heavy-load bearings is provided during order execution to standardize installation procedures and extend service life. Clear after-sales warranty supports rapid spare parts reissue for damages excluding man-made collision to resume production quickly and stop losses.
Complete documents including material test reports, corrosion test reports and factory certificates are supplied for mine general contracting projects to satisfy mine equipment safety acceptance and EIA filing. Full customs documents such as certificate of origin, commercial invoice and packing list are prepared for foreign trade orders of industrial accessories with full-container sea transportation available. Long-term contracted dealers enjoy tiered ordering discounts, regional exclusive distribution protection and full set of promotional materials to boost profit margins of wear-resistant anti-corrosion industrial accessory business.
Significant Long-Term Operation & Maintenance Cost Reduction Based on Full-Life-Cycle Cost Calculation for Mines & Sand Yards
One-day shutdown output loss of mine sand washing equipment far exceeds bearing procurement cost. Ordinary carbon steel bearings need replacement every 1–2 months, with high accumulated costs from frequent disassembly shutdown, maintenance labor and output reduction. NMT stainless steel tapered roller bearings operate stably for more than 18 months under mud immersion, sand abrasion and reagent corrosion conditions, drastically cutting spare parts purchasing frequency and production line downtime.
Smooth bearing operation reduces main shaft vibration to extend service life of drum barrels, reducers and shaft-end oil seals synchronously and reduce secondary faults such as oil leakage and drum deformation. Stable sealing protection greatly prolongs grease refilling cycle and cuts heavy field maintenance workload in mines. Remarkable overall long-term operation cost reduction is achieved for large-scale sand yards, major mineral processing plants and tailings treatment projects.
