I. Core Faults of Agricultural Equipment Bearings

Agricultural machinery operates under the most demanding conditions in the global industrial sector. Disc harrows, planters, tillers, balers, and grain conveyors are constantly exposed to soil, debris, fertilizers, pesticides, and moisture. Common failure modes: 

Soil and soil pollution – The bearings of the farming machinery operate in the damp and muddy soil conditions, exposed to soil, sludge and water. The residual water inside forms "water pit corrosion" oxidation areas, weakening the surface and eventually leading to peeling or flaking.

✅ All-Stainless Steel Bearing Unit - The NMT sealed bearing unit uses stainless steel sleeve bearings, with both the inner and outer rings as well as the rolling elements being corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Carbon steel bearings start to rust within one farming season, while NMT stainless steel bearings remain intact across multiple farming seasons. The native passivation film prevents erosion by fertilizers, pesticides and moisture - no surface coating required. 

✅ Factory pre-lubrication, lifetime sealing – Each NMT Agri-Hub unit is filled with long-life lubricating grease and sealed upon leaving the factory. No field re-lubrication required – Eliminates the risk of contamination from improper lubrication and the cost of manual lubrication. 

✅ Carburized and hardened steel structure - For high-load areas such as the disc harrow blade assembly and the plow handle of the cultivator, NMT uses carburized and hardened steel (equivalent to SAE 52100), achieving the optimal balance between a tough and impact-resistant core and a hard and wear-resistant surface.

III. Equipment Bearing Solution - Suitable for Every Type of Agricultural Machinery

▸ Sealed Bearing Unit (Agri-Hub) 

The NMT Agri-Hub bearing unit is a fully integrated, sealed, and pre-lubricated component specifically designed for harsh field conditions. It is applied in disc harrows, vertical tillers, cultivators, and planters. The double-row angular contact ball bearings provide high load capacity in a compact size. The factory pre-fills long-life lubricating grease seals - no maintenance is required throughout the season. 

Sleeved bearing (UC series) 

The NMT UC series bearing with housing features a wide inner ring and is equipped with locking screws or eccentric locking sleeves, ensuring reliable shaft installation. It is suitable for scenarios such as grain screw conveyors, conveyors, baling machines, and harvesters that require quick installation and replacement. Two options are available: stainless steel and standard steel. 

Disc耙 bearing 

The disc harrow assembly requires high axial load-bearing capacity and heavy-duty seals. The NMT disc harrow bearings feature a conical roller configuration, specifically designed for the high impact loads during farming operations. Multiple lip seals prevent soil, stones, and debris from entering the bearing chamber. 

Sowing machine bearing 

Each seeding machine uses over 100 bearings - on-site re-lubrication is impractical. NMT offers lifetime sealed deep groove ball bearings, equipped with three layers of lip seals, to prevent the entry of seed coating agents and fine soil particles. Factory pre-lubrication ensures consistent seeding accuracy over thousands of acres of operations. 

Bearing for baler and hay harvester 

The picking up device and feeding mechanism bearings of the baler are subjected to crop residue, baling ropes and heavy impact loads. NMT provides heavy-duty sealed bearings with a full-roller design, achieving maximum load capacity within a limited space. The reinforced cage is designed to withstand the repeated impacts of the baling cycle. 

Grain conveyor and screw conveyor bearings 

Grain dust is highly abrasive. The bearings of the NMT conveyor adopt labyrinth seals. The centrifugal force is utilized to dislodge the dust particles, and the stainless steel housing is used to resist corrosion caused by the moisture in stored grains. 

IV. Three sealing configurations - for different field conditions

▷ Standard dust-proof type (2RS): Double-sided contact rubber seal 

Blocks dry dust, soil and crop residues. Suitable for planters, strip planters and dry field conveyors. 

▷ Heavy-duty anti-silt type (3L three-layer lip seal): Three-layer sealing lip + labyrinth baffle 

The "3L" three-layer lip seal provides excellent protection against dust, dirt and moisture. The three-layer sealed lip forms multiple barriers to prevent harmful particles and liquids from entering. It is specially designed for disc plows, cultivators and wet soil farming equipment. 

▷ Super heavy-duty sealing type (five-layer lip seal + metal shield) 

The most robust seal is available - a five-layer lip design combined with metal plate flanges provides additional strength. Suitable for捆扎机, hay harvesters, and equipment operating in soil, stones, and heavy debris. Factory-sealed, pre-lubricated, maintenance-free throughout the season. 

V. Special Lubrication - Factory Lifetime Sealing

The NMT sealed bearing units are pre-filled with high-quality long-life lubricating grease in the factory, completely eliminating the need for field lubrication. 

Standard lubricating grease: NLGI 2-grade composite lithium-based grease, with an effective temperature range of up to 107°C (225°F). 

High-temperature option: Polyurea grease, suitable for heavy-duty applications with high rotational speed and high temperature. 

Low-temperature option: Lithium-based low-temperature lubricating grease (drop point ≥ 180°C), suitable for operations in cold weather below -20°C. 

Chemical-resistant option: Special anti-corrosion lubricating grease, suitable for fertilizing machines and spraying machines. 

The factory pre-sealed lubrication eliminates the primary cause of bearing failure - improper lubrication - and also eliminates the contamination risks associated with field grease injection.
