Sealing lips contact the inner ring, blocking high-pressure wash water and chemical intrusion. FKM (fluoroelastomer) seals resist high temperatures and aggressive chemicals; NBR suitable for general washdown. For applications with frequent high-pressure washdowns (≥100 bar), use contact seals (2RS) or labyrinth seals with auxiliary external shields. Recommended for conveyors, fillers and mixers in wet processing areas.

Double protection against high-pressure spray. A rotating flinger/slinger deflects water away from the seal, reducing direct impingement on sealing lips.
