1. Frequent Failures of Ordinary Bearings in Heavy-Duty Vibration Equipment

Mining crushing, cement grinding and steel rolling equipment operate under heavy impact load and continuous high-frequency vibration all year round. The main shaft of the equipment is prone to bending deformation and installation coaxial deviation. Ordinary cylindrical roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings have no self-aligning ability. After shaft bending, stress concentrates on the edge of rollers, leading to raceway edge peeling and roller fracture in a short time.

Vibrating screens and quarry roller equipment vibrate uninterruptedly day and night. The bearing cage bears alternating impact force repeatedly, and ordinary stamped steel cages are easy to crack and fall apart. Falling rolling elements directly lock the rotating shaft and cause emergency shutdown of the whole production line.

Cement rotary kilns and large ball mills work at high temperature with poor lubrication conditions. Fine sand and stone dust invade the bearing interior, causing rapid deterioration and drying of grease, dry friction and high-temperature bearing ablation, overall bearing scrapping, long equipment maintenance cycle and high repair cost.

Hot rolling rolls and heavy-duty conveyors in steel plants run under long-term overload operation. Excessive radial load leads to sharp increase of bearing clearance, intensified equipment vibration and abnormal noise, damaging finished product processing accuracy and increasing overall equipment loss.

Spherical outer ring + symmetrical rollers for strong self-aligning tolerance

The outer ring raceway adopts spherical design to realize angular self-aligning compensation of ±1°~1.5°. Coaxial errors caused by main shaft bending, base installation dislocation and frame deformation can be offset completely to avoid local overload damage from unilateral stress, suitable for long shafts and cantilever heavy-duty transmission shafts.

High-purity bearing steel + integral quenching for impact and compression resistance

The main body adopts high-hardenability bearing steel treated by high-temperature quenching and tempering. The hardness of rollers, inner and outer rings is uniform with excellent toughness. It can bear impact load from bulk mine materials and resist deformation under heavy compression. The impact durability is over 70% higher than ordinary spherical roller bearings.

Two types of cages for targeted selection

Solid brass cage: high rigidity, high temperature resistance and dust wear resistance, ideal for low-speed heavy-load scenarios such as ball mills, rotary kilns and high-temperature rolling rolls;

Stamped steel cage: lightweight structure with excellent toughness against alternating vibration, applicable for high-frequency vibration equipment like vibrating screens and vibrating feeders, hard to break. Two structures cover all equipment demands.

Widened oil grooves for industrial centralized lubrication

Large lubricating oil diversion grooves are reserved on the bearing end face to support three oil supply modes: forced grease lubrication, circulating thin oil lubrication and oil-air lubrication. Lubricating oil fully penetrates the contact surface between rollers and raceways to isolate dust impurities and continuously take away operating heat, preventing oil shortage seizure under high temperature.

Multiple clearance grades for accurate working condition matching

Four clearance grades are provided before delivery: C0 normal clearance, C3 large clearance, C4 extra-large clearance and special high-temperature clearance. Select C0 for stable normal-temperature transmission; choose C3/C4 for vibration and high-temperature equipment to reserve thermal expansion allowance and prevent clearance shrinkage and seizure caused by temperature rise. Customization of large non-standard sizes for inner diameter, width and thickness is available.

4. Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

Assembly Specifications

Hot mounting is preferred for spherical roller bearing assembly with heating temperature controlled at 100~120℃; open flame direct baking of bearings is forbidden. Pressing force acts on the end face of the bearing inner ring; knocking the outer ring or cage directly is prohibited. Ensure coaxiality of two shafts when using bearings in pairs to reduce unilateral load.

Lubrication Management

For heavy-duty vibration equipment, adopt forced grease filling and replenish grease every 8 to 200 hours according to working conditions to squeeze out dust and aged grease from the oil nozzle. Rotary high-temperature equipment uses thin oil lubrication with regular inspection of lubricating oil viscosity and impurity content.

Storage Protection

Large bearings shall be stored vertically; flat stacking easily causes outer ring deformation. Keep the warehouse dry and dust-proof. Regularly replenish anti-rust oil for long-term stocked bearings to avoid rust damage to precision raceway profiles.
