Speed note: 15° small contact angle lowers friction torque and heat generation at high speed. Back-to-back DB layout creates wider support span and superior resistance to overturning moment compared with DF face-to-face arrangement. Preload and matching accuracy are preset at factory. Disassembly, separate use or random matching with other single bearings are prohibited.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7006 CD/P4ADBA is a factory-matched duplex back-to-back ultra-light preload angular contact bearing set in 7006 size with 15° high-load D-type design, assembled from two single bearings with precision factory selection, integrated bearing steel rings. D-type raceway profile optimizes rolling element load distribution.
This unit is supplied as a matched duplex assembly. Matching tolerance and preload magnitude are fixed during production. Disassembly and recombination are not permitted. Open construction supports grease lubrication and oil-air high-speed lubrication; no lubricant pre-filled inside bearings.
Bearing steel features high hardness, excellent wear resistance and dimensional stability. The 15° contact angle balances high-speed capacity and axial stiffness. DB back-to-back configuration significantly improves spindle capability against overturning moment, suitable for applications with radial offset load and oscillating cutting. Ultra-light preload minimizes heat generation, ideal for precision spindles prioritizing maximum rotational speed under moderate cutting load.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 15° D geometry + Factory DB back-to-back matched set: Wider support span, strong anti-overturning capacity, balancing high-speed performance and support rigidity.
2. Factory preset ultra-light preload: Mild preload level reduces temperature rise under continuous high-speed operation, suitable for long-duration precision finishing.
3. Bearing Steel Substrate: Good anti-fatigue and wear resistance, stable precision maintained under prolonged high-speed rotation.
4. P4A Ultra-Precision Grade: Strict control over rotary runout to guarantee geometric accuracy during high-speed machining.
5. Open Seal-Free Construction: Eliminates seal friction loss, improves heat dissipation and fully compatible with high-speed oil-air lubrication systems.
4 Typical Application Scenarios
4.1 CNC Engraving & Milling High-Speed Spindles: Medium & small mould engraving-milling, woodworking high-speed cutting spindle units.
4.2 Compact High-Speed Grinding Spindles: Tool grinding, internal grinding precision spindle assemblies.
4.3 Rotary Supports for Precision Test Equipment: High-speed precision rotary shafts, support seats for small precision rotary fixtures.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A high-precision duplex bearing sets must be assembled in dust-free clean environment. Thoroughly remove burrs and contaminants on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never strike bearing rings or raceways directly. Install the complete set as supplied; disassembly for separate mounting is forbidden.
5.2 Matching Layout & Preload Instructions
This bearing is factory pre-matched DB back-to-back duplex unit. Preload level is factory-set. Do not disassemble, swap or combine these bearings with other single bearings. Position axially via shaft shoulders, spacers and end caps. Do not apply extra forced preload during installation.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant inside bearings. Oil-air lubrication recommended for continuous operation near speed limits; premium high-speed grease can be used for intermittent medium-low speed operation. Do not mix different lubricant grades. Inspect lubrication supply pipelines periodically.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Contact SKF to obtain reference limiting speed values. Reserve a 15%~25% safety margin for loaded operation; reduce maximum allowable speed as applied load increases.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out staged low-speed running-in after assembly. Continuously monitor temperature rise and vibration before increasing speed to nominal working level. Open design offers no dust protection; external labyrinth or contact dust seals must be installed for machining environments.
Maintain steady lubricant supply to avoid dry friction. In case of abnormal temperature surge, excessive vibration or noise, check over-speed condition, lubrication continuity and mounting coaxiality. Avoid long-term sustained shock loads.
