Speed note: 15° contact angle combined with high-speed E raceway profile reduces rolling friction and achieves excellent limiting speed. Single bearing cannot support bidirectional axial load or overturning moment; normally installed in DB/DF/DT matched sets. Open design requires external dust sealing.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7006 CE/P4A is a single-row precision angular contact ball bearing in 7006 size with 15° high-speed E geometry. Integrated bearing steel rings and optimized E contour for rolling elements and raceways reduce contact friction, improve lubricant film formation and enhance stability at ultra-high speed.
Open non-sealed construction eliminates seal drag, ideal for oil-air lubrication. No lubricant pre-filled at factory; grease filling or oil-air supply is arranged during assembly.
Bearing steel delivers high hardness and dimensional stability. Single-row design supports radial load plus unidirectional axial load only. Rigidity is limited when used alone; high-speed spindles commonly adopt duplex or four-piece matched configuration with precision spacers for controlled preload.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 15° high-speed E internal geometry: Low friction, well-controlled heat generation and outstanding speed capability.
2. P4A ultra-precision grade: Minimal rotary runout to maintain spindle accuracy at high rotation speed.
3. Open seal-free design: No sealing friction loss, perfectly compatible with ultra-high-speed oil-air lubrication systems.
4. Bearing steel material: Good wear and fatigue resistance, low precision degradation during long-term high-speed operation.
5. Standard 7006 boundary dimensions: High interchangeability for matched assembly with bearings of the same size.
4 Typical Application Scenarios
4.1 High-speed engraving & milling, PCB drilling, mould finishing spindles: Light-cut high-speed machining center spindle units.
4.2 Precision high-speed grinding spindles: High-speed rotary supports for internal/external grinders and tool grinders.
4.3 Test equipment & high-speed centrifugal fixtures: High-speed light-load rotary mechanisms, often assembled in duplex or four-bearing sets.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A high-precision bearing must be assembled in dust-free clean conditions. Remove burrs and contaminants on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Avoid direct impact on rings and raceways. To withstand bidirectional thrust, two or more bearings shall be arranged in matched configuration.
5.2 Load & Matching Instructions
Single-row angular contact bearing withstands unidirectional axial force only. Adopt DB back-to-back or DF face-to-face arrangement for bidirectional load and overturning resistance; select DT tandem layout for heavy unidirectional thrust. No factory preload for single bearing; preload is adjusted via precision spacers after set assembly.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled grease. Oil-air lubrication is preferred for continuous high-speed running; high-speed grease can be used for intermittent medium-low speed operation. Do not mix different lubricant brands. Maintain regular inspection of supply pipelines.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Listed values are reference limiting speeds. Reserve a 15%~20% safety margin under loaded operation; reduce operating speed as applied load increases.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Implement staged low-speed running-in after assembly; raise to nominal speed only after temperature and vibration stabilize. Open bearing has no dust protection; machine must be fitted with external labyrinth or contact dust seals.
Ensure continuous lubrication supply to prevent dry friction. In case of abnormal temperature rise, vibration or noise, check lubrication status, mounting coaxiality, axial preload and actual load level sequentially.
