Note: The 15° contact angle delivers excellent radial load capacity. High-load D raceway enlarges contact area to improve load rating. Back-to-back DB configuration provides high moment stiffness and superior tilting resistance. Factory pre-matched with medium preload, eliminating on-site pairing work. Composite rings are lightweight with stable thermal characteristics. Open construction removes seal drag and works with grease and oil-air lubrication. No pre-filled lubricant; centralized lubrication system is required. External dust protection must be installed on equipment side.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7006 CD/HCP4ADBC is a 7006 size 15° high-load D-type precision duplex angular contact bearing. Two single bearings are precisely selected and factory-assembled into a back-to-back (<>) DB set with finely machined integrated composite rings. The 15° contact angle prioritizes radial loads while supporting bidirectional axial loads.
Back-to-back duplex creates a wide effective support span, offering strong resistance to overturning moment, suitable for spindles subject to bending loads and dominant radial forces. Factory preset medium preload balances spindle rigidity and heat generation at high speed. Open unsealed design minimizes rotational resistance and allows direct lubricant access to raceways.
Composite material reduces total bearing weight and stabilizes temperature variation. Delivered as a complete matched set for direct installation, ensuring consistent performance without on-site sorting.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 15° contact angle + high-load D raceway: Excellent radial load capacity with high load ratings for radial-dominant applications.
2. Factory pre-matched back-to-back DB set: High moment stiffness and outstanding anti-tilting capability for spindles under cutting bending moment.
3. Factory-set medium preload: Consistent preload level to simplify assembly adjustment.
4. P4A ultra-precision grade: Strict rotary runout control to sustain long-term machining accuracy.
5. Integrated composite rings: Lightweight and thermally stable, ideal for lightweight spindle designs.
6. Open unsealed structure: No seal friction loss, compatible with multiple high-speed lubrication solutions.
4 Typical Application Scenarios
4.1 Small engraving & milling spindles, high-speed PCB drilling spindles: Subject to cutting overturning moment, requiring high spindle rigidity and stable high-speed operation.
4.2 Precision internal grinding spindles, compact high-speed grinder spindles: Heavy radial cutting loads with strict requirements on rotational accuracy and vibration resistance.
4.3 High-speed rotary shafts for precision test equipment, high-precision automated rotary units: Compact duplex support demanding strong anti-tilting performance.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A high-precision duplex bearings must be assembled in dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never strike bearing rings or rolling elements directly. The two matched bearings in one set cannot be split and mixed with other single bearings, otherwise precision and preload will be invalidated.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
Supplied as factory pre-matched back-to-back duplex set with factory medium preload. Do not disassemble the pair arbitrarily. Ensure bearing faces closely seat against positioning shoulders during assembly; avoid excessive axial force which may damage original preload. Contact manufacturer for custom preload if specification change is needed.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Premium high-speed grease fits intermittent medium-high speed operation; oil-air lubrication is recommended for continuous long-duration high-speed service. Do not mix different lubricant types and inspect lubrication pipelines regularly.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Obtain limiting speed reference data from SKF. Maintain sufficient safety margin based on load, temperature rise and cooling conditions. Reduce speed under heavy loads to prevent thermal raceway damage.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; gradually raise speed to operating range once temperature and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust protection; labyrinth or contact dust seals must be fitted to machinery.
Sustain stable lubricant supply to avoid dry friction. In case of abnormal temperature rise, vibration or noise, sequentially check lubrication supply, mounting coaxiality, positioning status, operating load and integrity of dust seals.
