Note: The 15° contact angle provides superior radial load capacity. High-load D raceway enlarges contact zone to improve load capacity. Bearing steel rings offer high hardness, wear and fatigue resistance. Supplied as loose single bearings allowing on-site duplex configuration in DB/DF/DT arrangements. Class B measured load grouping enables accurate preload adjustment via shims. Open design eliminates seal drag and works with grease and oil-air lubrication. No built-in lubricant; external lubrication system required. External dust protection must be fitted. Use bearings from the same batch for duplex assembly to guarantee consistent preload.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7006 CDGB/P4A is size 7006, 15° high-load D-type precision single angular contact bearing made of bearing steel. Integrated bearing steel rings are processed by ultra-precision raceway grinding. The 15° contact angle prioritizes radial loads and withstands unidirectional axial load.
This model is duplex-capable single unit without factory pre-matching. Customers can freely adopt back-to-back, face-to-face or tandem layouts based on spindle rigidity and load characteristics. Bearings are sorted into measured load Class B, facilitating precise target preload setting using spacer shims during assembly. Open unsealed design reduces rotational resistance, suitable for various high-speed precision spindles.
Bearing steel ensures stable mechanical performance for continuous operation. Loose single supply offers high flexibility for non-standard structures and multi-support spindle design.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 15° contact angle + high-load D raceway: Excellent radial load capacity for applications dominated by radial cutting forces.
2. Bearing steel rings: Good wear resistance and contact fatigue resistance for long continuous operation.
3. Duplex-capable single design: Flexible DB/DF/DT duplex layout selection.
4. Measured load Class B grouping: Convenient accurate preload tuning with shims on site.
5. P4A ultra-precision grade: Strict rotary runout control to sustain precision machining quality.
6. Open unsealed structure: No seal friction loss, compatible with grease and oil-air high-speed lubrication.
4 Typical Application Scenarios
4.1 High-speed spindles for engraving & milling machines, machining centers, PCB drilling machines: Self-designed duplex or triple bearing supports with adjustable preload.
4.2 Internal & external grinding machine spindles: Large radial grinding loads requiring flexible support layout.
4.3 Precision automated rotary shafts, high-speed rotary units for test equipment: Multi-bearing support structures with customized preload requirements.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A precision bearings must be assembled in dust-free clean conditions. Remove burrs and contaminants on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Controlled thermal mounting is recommended. Never strike bearing rings or rolling elements directly. For duplex setups, prefer bearings from identical batches to minimize performance dispersion.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
Supplied as single bearings without factory duplex matching. All duplex/triple combinations and preload force shall be adjusted on-site using spacers and shims. Class B load group serves only as reference; axial rigidity measurement after assembly is suggested to verify actual preload.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Premium high-speed grease fits intermittent medium-high speed operation. Oil-air lubrication is recommended for continuous long-duration high-speed running to dissipate friction heat. Do not mix different lubricant types and inspect lubrication pipelines regularly.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Contact SKF for limiting speed reference data. Maintain sufficient safety margin according to load and cooling conditions. Reduce operating speed under heavy loads to avoid thermal raceway damage.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; raise speed to working range only after temperature and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; labyrinth or contact dust seals must be installed on machinery.
Maintain steady lubricant supply and avoid dry friction. When abnormal temperature rise, vibration or noise occurs, sequentially check lubrication supply, mounting coaxiality, preload shim thickness, operating load and dust seal integrity.
