Japan NMT 7010 CDGBTP/P4B Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearing, 15° All-Steel Open Single Spindle Bearing

1 Complete Model & Code Explanation

Model: 7010 CDGBTP/P4B

Code Definition

7010: Light series precision angular contact ball bearing basic dimension

CD: 15° contact angle, optimized for high speed light load

GB: Standard sorting grade, control of face height and internal clearance for general on-site pairing

TP: High-speed reinforced solid cage, reduce pocket friction and suppress vibration

P4B: Precision tolerance grade P4B, wider tolerance range than P4A

Note: No HC marking = all-steel bearing; CD (15° high speed) vs ACE (25° superior axial load capacity); P4B precision lower than P4A; GB sorting standard inferior to GA premium grade

Full Product Attributes

Contact form: two-point contact

Number of rows: single row single bearing

Matching mode: Open single bearing, support DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem assembly on site

Precision class: P4B precision grade

Material: All-steel bearing (steel rings + steel rolling elements)

Seal: Open type, no seal

Note: The 15° small contact angle reduces centrifugal resistance of rolling elements and delivers higher limiting speed than 25° variants, suitable for continuous high speed and moderate axial load. Equipped with dedicated TP high-speed cage with optimized pocket geometry to lower friction noise and improve deformation resistance under high rotation. GB is standard sorting grade with larger dimensional scatter than GA premium bearings; same-batch selection and spacer adjustment margin are required during pairing. P4B precision meets general high-speed spindle demands; upgrade to P4A for ultra-precision high-gloss machining. Open design eliminates seal drag without pre-filled grease. Without ceramic insulation, all-steel bearings suffer electric corrosion on motor spindles with shaft current; HC hybrid ceramic bearings are recommended for such conditions. Open construction provides no dust resistance; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof structure must be installed on equipment.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

Japan NMT 7010 CDGBTP/P4B is size 7010 all-steel precision single angular contact ball bearing with 15° contact angle. Inner rings, outer rings and steel balls are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel with precision mirror grinding, matched with integrated TP high-speed reinforced cage for strict control of roundness and dimensional tolerance.

The 15° small contact angle geometry fits economical high-speed processing equipment under light to moderate axial loads. TP cage effectively reduces rolling element skidding to cut heat generation and vibration. Supplied as loose single bearings without factory pre-matching. Users can adopt DB bidirectional load layout, DF high-rigidity layout or DT heavy unidirectional load tandem layout according to spindle load. Widely applied in economical high-speed engraving & milling spindles, medium-small surface/internal high-speed grinding spindles and general high-speed automation spindles.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. 15° CD small contact angle: Low centrifugal load, excellent limiting speed, suitable for continuous high-speed light & medium load working conditions.

2. TP high-speed reinforced cage: Optimized pocket structure, reduces high-speed skidding friction, lowers vibration and noise during operation.

3. P4B precision grade: Controls rotational runout to satisfy continuous machining accuracy requirements for general high-speed machine tools.

4. GB standard sorting specification: Cost-effective, freely combined into DB/DF/DT sets with bearings from the same batch.

5. Open unsealed structure: Zero seal friction resistance, compatible with oil-air forced lubrication system.

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

P4B precision bearings should be assembled in dust-free environment. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Adopt controlled thermal mounting and strictly limit heating temperature. Never strike bearing rings and rolling elements directly. Select bearings from the same batch for pairing assembly.

5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions

Supplied as standard sorted single bearings without factory pre-matching. DB, DF, DT layout and preload value preferably adopt light preload L1, adjusted by spacers on site. Heavy preload is prohibited under high-speed conditions to avoid sharp temperature rise and seizure. DB/DF layout for alternating bidirectional loads; DT tandem layout for continuous unidirectional axial loads.

Selection reference: ① Heavy axial cutting load → ACE series 25° contact angle bearing; ② Risk of electric corrosion caused by shaft current → upgrade to HC hybrid ceramic type; ③ Ultra-precision high-gloss machining → GA sorting + P4A precision specification.

5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions

No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is preferred for long continuous high-speed operation; special high-speed spindle grease can be used for intermittent short-cycle operation. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or types, regularly check oil circuit cleanliness and supply pressure.

5.4 Speed Parameter Note

Limit DN value higher than all-steel 25° bearings of same size, lower than HC hybrid ceramic CD series. Reserve sufficient safety margin based on preload and cooling conditions; properly reduce maximum operating speed under prolonged high ambient temperature.

6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting

Perform multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly, gradually raise to rated speed only after temperature rise and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust-proof assembly cannot be omitted.

Maintain stable and continuous lubrication supply and avoid dry friction operation without oil. In case of abnormal temperature rise, persistent abnormal noise or sudden vibration increase, sequentially check: lubrication supply, excessive preload, assembly coaxial accuracy, dust-proof sealing integrity and equipment overload.
