1 Complete Model & Code Explanation
Model: 7010 CE/HCP4ADGA
Code Definition
7010: Light series precision angular contact ball bearing basic dimension
CE: 18° contact angle, balanced design for both high speed and axial load
HC: Hybrid ceramic construction (high carbon chromium steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic balls)
P4ADGA: P4A precision grade + GA premium sorting
GA: Premium selective sorting, strict control of face height, clearance and dimensional tolerance with minimal dimensional scatter
Note: CD(15° extreme high speed)<CE(18° balanced)<ACE(25° heavy axial load); HC = hybrid ceramic, no HC means all-steel; GA premium sorting superior to GB standard sorting; P4A precision higher than P4B

Full Product Attributes
Contact form: two-point contact
Number of rows: single row single bearing
Matching mode: Open single bearing, support DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem high-precision assembly on site
Precision class: P4A ultra-precision grade + GA premium sorting
Material: Hybrid ceramic bearing (steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements)
Seal: Open type, no seal
Note: The balanced 18° CE contact angle improves axial load capacity compared with 15° CD models and achieves higher limiting speed than 25° ACE variants, covering wider working conditions. HC hybrid ceramic structure provides electrical insulation to block shaft current and avoid electric pitting corrosion on motor spindles. Lighter ceramic balls reduce heat generation and dynamic friction at high speed. GA premium sorting greatly narrows dimensional tolerance range and ensures consistent vibration performance, supporting factory pre-matching and high-precision field assembly. Open construction eliminates seal drag, recommended for continuous oil-air lubrication; long-term high-speed operation with grease only is not advised. No built-in dust protection; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof structure must be installed. Higher cost than all-steel bearings and GB-grade ceramic bearings, targeting mid-to-high-end precision spindle applications.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7010 CE/HCP4ADGA is size 7010 ultra-precision hybrid ceramic single angular contact ball bearing with 18° contact angle. Inner and outer rings are ultra-precision mirror ground high-carbon chromium bearing steel, rolling elements adopt high-purity silicon nitride ceramic balls. GA premium sorting unifies internal clearance and end-face dimensions to enhance product consistency.
The balanced 18° geometry overcomes the insufficient axial capacity of 15° bearings and speed limitation of 25° bearings, suitable for applications requiring both high rotating speed and moderate axial cutting load. Lightweight ceramic balls reduce centrifugal load and suppress heat rise under high speed, while insulation solves shaft current damage of built-in motor spindles. Supplied as loose singles without factory pre-matching. Users can select DB bidirectional load layout, DF high-rigidity layout or DT unidirectional load tandem layout according to spindle force. Widely used in mould high-speed engraving & milling motor spindles, precision internal & external grinding spindles, high-speed PCB depaneling spindles and various precision CNC spindles with integrated motors.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. Balanced 18° CE contact angle: Balances limiting speed and axial load capacity, covering working conditions between 15° CD and 25° ACE series.
2. HC hybrid ceramic structure: Silicon nitride balls insulate against electric corrosion, lightweight, lower temperature rise at high speed and extended fatigue life.
3. P4A precision + GA premium sorting: Minimal dimensional deviation, excellent rotational runout control and consistent vibration performance for high-precision pairing.
4. Open unsealed structure: Zero seal friction loss, conforming to design standard of oil-air lubricated high-speed spindles.
5. Flexible combination: GA premium singles can be freely assembled into DB/DF/DT multi-bearing sets to adapt to different spindle load modes.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4ADGA precision hybrid ceramic bearings must be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free cleanroom. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Use controlled thermal mounting; avoid direct heating on ceramic rolling elements. Never strike bearing rings or ceramic balls; ceramic materials are brittle and prone to invisible cracks upon impact. Select bearings from identical batch for pairing assembly.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
Supplied as GA premium single bearings without factory pre-matching. Light preload L1 is recommended for DB, DF, DT configurations, adjusted precisely via spacers on site. ⚠️Medium or heavy preload is forbidden under high-speed operation to prevent rapid temperature rise and seizure. DB/DF layout for alternating bidirectional loads; DT tandem layout for continuous unidirectional axial loads.
Selection guide: ①Extreme high speed & light load → 7010 CD/HCP4A; ②Heavy axial cutting load → 7010 ACEGA/HCP4A.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous high-speed operation. Special high-speed spindle grease is only permitted for intermittent short-cycle operation. Ceramic bearings demand high lubricant cleanliness; install high-precision filters on oil circuit. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or specifications, regularly monitor oil pressure and cleanliness.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Limit DN value lower than 15° CD hybrid ceramic bearings and higher than 25° ACE hybrid ceramic bearings. Reserve sufficient safety margin based on preload level and cooling conditions; appropriately reduce rated operating speed under prolonged high ambient temperature.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out extended multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; gradually increase to operating speed only after temperature and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust sealing cannot be omitted.
Maintain continuous clean lubrication supply and avoid dry running without oil; oil starvation easily leads to ceramic ball fracture. In case of abnormal heating, high-frequency squealing noise or sharp vibration increase, sequentially check: oil supply & cleanliness, excessive preload, assembly coaxiality, dust seal integrity and equipment overload.
