Japan NMT 7010 CE/HCP4ADGB Precision Angular Contact Ball Bearing, 18° Hybrid Ceramic Open Single Spindle Bearing

1 Complete Model & Code Explanation

Model: 7010 CE/HCP4ADGB

Code Definition

7010: Light series precision angular contact ball bearing basic dimension

CE: 18° contact angle, balanced design for high speed and axial load

HC: Hybrid ceramic construction (high carbon chromium steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic balls)

P4ADGB: P4A precision grade + GB standard sorting

GB: Standard sorting grade, control of face height and basic clearance; wider dimensional scatter than GA premium grade, suitable for general on-site assembly

Note: CD(15° extreme high speed)<CE(18° balanced)<ACE(25° heavy axial load); GB standard sorting is inferior to GA premium sorting; suffix DGB = GB sorting, DGA = GA sorting

Full Product Attributes

Contact form: two-point contact

Number of rows: single row single bearing

Matching mode: Open single bearing, support DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem assembly on site

Precision class: P4A precision grade + GB standard sorting

Material: Hybrid ceramic bearing (steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements)

Seal: Open type, no seal

Note: The balanced 18° CE contact angle delivers higher axial load capacity than 15° CD models and higher limiting speed than 25° ACE models, covering many working conditions requiring high speed and moderate axial cutting load. HC hybrid ceramic structure provides insulation to block shaft current and prevent electric pitting on motor spindles. Lighter ceramic balls reduce friction and temperature rise at high rotation speed.

As GB standard sorting version, compared with P4ADGA (GA premium grade), it has larger dimensional dispersion and slightly poorer batch vibration consistency, but with cost advantages, ideal for equipment relying on spacer shims to fine-tune preload without ultra-high requirements on vibration uniformity. Open structure eliminates seal drag; oil-air continuous lubrication is preferred, long-term high-speed operation with grease is not recommended. No built-in dust protection; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof device must be installed.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

Japan NMT 7010 CE/HCP4ADGB is size 7010 hybrid ceramic precision single angular contact ball bearing with 18° contact angle. Inner and outer rings adopt precision mirror ground high-carbon chromium bearing steel, rolling elements are silicon nitride ceramic balls. GB standard sorting controls internal clearance and end-face dimensions to meet requirements of general high-precision spindles.

The balanced 18° geometry balances rotational speed and axial load, solving the defects of insufficient capacity for 15° bearings and speed limitation for 25° bearings. Lightweight ceramic balls reduce centrifugal load and heat generation under high speed, and insulation fits built-in motor spindles for anti-electrocorrosion. Supplied as loose singles without factory pre-matching. Users can choose DB bidirectional load layout, DF high-rigidity layout or DT unidirectional load tandem layout according to spindle load. Widely used for cost-effective high-speed engraving & milling motor spindles, medium-small precision internal & external grinding spindles and general automation high-speed precision rotary units.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. Balanced 18° CE contact angle: Balances limiting speed and axial load capacity, covers working conditions between 15° CD and 25° ACE series.

2. HC hybrid ceramic structure: Silicon nitride balls insulate against electric corrosion, lightweight, lower temperature rise at high speed and extend service life.

3. P4A precision + GB standard sorting: Achieves P4A precision, standard sorting balances performance and cost, suitable for flexible on-site matching.

4. Open unsealed structure: Removes seal friction loss, complies with design standards of oil-air lubricated high-speed spindles.

5. Flexible combination: Single bearings can be assembled into DB/DF/DT sets to adapt to various spindle load conditions.

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

P4ADGB precision hybrid ceramic bearings should be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free environment. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Adopt controlled thermal mounting; avoid direct heating on ceramic rolling elements. Never strike bearing rings or ceramic balls; ceramics are brittle and prone to invisible microcracks after impact. Select bearings from the same batch for pairing assembly.

5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions

Supplied as GB standard sorted single bearings without factory pre-matching. Light preload L1 is recommended for DB, DF, DT configurations and adjusted accurately via spacers on site. Medium and heavy preload are forbidden under high-speed conditions to avoid sharp temperature rise and seizure. DB/DF layout for alternating bidirectional loads; DT tandem layout for continuous unidirectional axial loads.

Selection guide: ①Ultra-high consistency & high-gloss finish machining → upgrade to 7010 CE/HCP4ADGA (GA premium); ②Extreme high speed & light load → 7010 CD/HCP4ADGB; ③Heavy axial cutting load → 7010 ACE/HCP4ADGB.

5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions

No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous high-speed operation. Special high-speed spindle grease is only allowed for short intermittent operation. Ceramic bearings require clean lubricant; install high-precision filters on oil circuit. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or specifications, regularly monitor oil supply pressure and cleanliness.

5.4 Speed Parameter Note

Limit DN value lower than 15° CD hybrid ceramic bearings and higher than 25° ACE hybrid ceramic bearings. Reserve sufficient safety margin based on preload and cooling conditions; properly reduce operating speed under prolonged high-temperature environment.

6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting

Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; gradually increase to rated speed only after temperature and vibration stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust sealing cannot be omitted.

Keep continuous supply of clean lubricant and avoid dry friction without oil. Oil starvation easily causes ceramic ball breakage. In case of abnormal heating, high-frequency squealing noise or sharp vibration increase, sequentially check: oil supply & cleanliness, excessive preload, assembly coaxiality, dust seal integrity and equipment overload.
