Precision class: P4A ultra-precision grade + H1 preload benchmark + GA premium sorting
Material: Hybrid ceramic bearing (steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements)
Seal: Open type, no seal
Note: The 25° ACE large contact angle provides obviously higher axial rigidity and load capacity than 15° CD and 18° CE models, ideal for working conditions under continuous heavy axial cutting load, while the limiting speed is reduced compared with smaller contact angle versions. HC hybrid ceramic structure delivers electrical insulation to block shaft current and avoid electric pitting on motor spindles. Lighter ceramic balls reduce friction loss and temperature rise during high-speed operation.
This model adopts factory H1 standard light preload benchmark with standardized clearance range, convenient for spindle manufacturers to assemble and debug with standard light preload solution. Combined with GA premium sorting, single bearing consistency is excellent with stable vibration and rotational runout performance, applicable for factory pre-set bearing sets as well as precise field assembly for high-end equipment. Open structure eliminates seal drag; continuous oil-air lubrication is strongly recommended, long-term high-speed operation with grease is not recommended. No built-in dust shield; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof device must be equipped.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7012 ACE/HCP4AH1DGA is size 7012 ultra-precision hybrid ceramic single angular contact ball bearing with 25° contact angle. Inner and outer rings are ultra-precision mirror ground high-carbon chromium bearing steel, rolling elements adopt high-purity silicon nitride ceramic balls. GA premium sorting unifies clearance and end-face dimensions, matched with standardized H1 light preload clearance range.
The 25° large contact angle geometry delivers outstanding axial rigidity, smaller deformation and better machining stability under heavy axial cutting load. Lightweight silicon nitride ceramic balls reduce centrifugal load and heat generation at high speed, and insulation solves shaft current damage of built-in motor spindles. Supplied as loose singles without mandatory factory pre-matching. Users can select DB bidirectional load layout, DF high-rigidity layout or DT tandem layout for continuous heavy unidirectional load according to spindle load. Widely used in large mould high-speed milling motor spindles, heavy-cutting precision CNC spindles and built-in motor precision boring spindles.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 25° ACE large contact angle: Excellent axial load capacity and rigidity, suitable for heavy axial cutting conditions.
2. HC hybrid ceramic structure: Silicon nitride balls insulate against electric corrosion, lightweight, effectively lower temperature rise at high speed and extend bearing fatigue life.
3. P4A precision + H1 preload benchmark + GA premium sorting: High precision, standardized clearance for light preload configuration, minimal dimensional scatter and consistent batch vibration performance.
4. Open unsealed structure: Eliminates seal friction loss, meets design standards of high-end spindles adopting oil-air lubrication.
5. Flexible combination: GA premium singles can be freely combined into DB/DF/DT multi-bearing sets to adapt to various heavy-load spindle force modes.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4AH1DGA ultra-precision hybrid ceramic bearings shall be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean environment. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Use controlled thermal mounting; avoid direct heating on ceramic rolling elements. Never strike bearing rings or ceramic balls; ceramics are brittle and invisible internal microcracks easily occur upon impact. Select bearings from identical batch for pairing assembly.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
Supplied as GA premium single bearings matched with H1 light preload reference, without factory pre-matching. Standard light preload L1 is recommended for DB, DF, DT configurations, precisely adjusted by spacers based on H1 clearance benchmark. ⚠️Do not upgrade to medium or heavy preload arbitrarily under high-speed conditions, which will cause sharp temperature rise and bearing seizure. DB/DF layout for alternating bidirectional heavy loads; DT tandem layout for continuous heavy unidirectional axial loads.
Selection guide: ①Balanced speed and load →7012 CE/HCP4A series; ②Extreme high speed & light load →7012 CD/HCP4A; ③Cost-effective general heavy-load application →7012 ACE/HCP4AH1DGB (GB sorting version).
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous high-speed heavy-load operation. Special high-speed spindle grease is only allowed for short intermittent operation. Ceramic bearings require high lubricant cleanliness; install high-precision filters on oil circuit. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or specifications, regularly monitor oil pressure, oil temperature and cleanliness.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Limit DN value is lower than 15° CD and 18° CE hybrid ceramic bearings of the same size. Additional safety margin for rotating speed is required under heavy load; properly reduce rated operating speed under prolonged high-temperature environment.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed extended running-in after assembly; gradually raise to working speed only after temperature and vibration stay stable. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust sealing cannot be omitted.
Maintain continuous supply of clean lubricant and avoid dry friction without oil. Oil starvation easily leads to fracture of ceramic rolling elements. In case of abnormal heating, continuous squealing noise or sharp vibration increase, sequentially check: oil supply & cleanliness, excessive preload, assembly coaxiality, dust seal integrity and cutting overload.
