Full Product Attributes
Contact form: two-point contact
Number of rows: single row single bearing
Matching mode: standard sorted unit, freely combinable DB/DF/DT on site
Precision class: P4A ultra-precision grade
Material: Hybrid ceramic bearing (steel rings + silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements)
Seal: Open type, no seal
Note: The 18° CE balanced contact angle delivers higher axial rigidity than 15° CD type and superior limiting speed compared with 25° ACE type, realizing balance between speed and rigidity. Ceramic rolling elements provide electrical insulation to block shaft current from variable frequency motors and avoid electric pitting on raceways, ideal for built-in motor spindles.
This is standard sorted unit without GB premium sorting suffix. Select GB version if higher batch consistency and unified face height are required. Open structure eliminates seal drag; continuous oil-air lubrication is mandatory. Long-term high-speed operation with grease is not recommended. No built-in dust shield; labyrinth or air curtain dust-proof structure must be equipped.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7012 CE/HCP4A is size 7012 ultra-precision hybrid ceramic single angular contact ball bearing with 18° contact angle. Inner and outer rings are mirror ultra-precision ground high-carbon chromium steel, rolling elements adopt silicon nitride ceramic balls. The 18° contact angle geometry balances high-speed capability and axial load stiffness. Ceramic balls feature light weight, low temperature rise and anti-electric corrosion insulation.
It fits built-in motor spindles requiring both high-speed finishing and medium-load milling, widely used on mold machining centers and high-speed CNC milling machines, covering the performance gap between 15° low-rigidity type and 25° low-speed type.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. 18° CE balanced contact angle: Balances limiting speed and axial rigidity, adapts to high-speed finishing and medium cutting load.
2. HC hybrid ceramic insulation: Blocks shaft current and prevents electric corrosion to extend service life for built-in motor spindles.
3. P4A ultra-precision grade: Excellent dimensional and rotational accuracy to reduce spindle runout and guarantee surface finish.
4. Open non-sealed construction: Eliminates seal friction loss, fully compatible with oil-air lubrication system for continuous high-speed operation.
5. Silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements: Low rotational inertia, outstanding wear resistance and lower heat generation than all-steel bearings of equal size.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A hybrid ceramic ultra-precision bearing shall be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshop. Remove all burrs, dust and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Adopt controlled thermal mounting with limited heating temperature; avoid direct open flame heating on ceramic balls. Never strike the bearing; impact may cause ceramic ball chipping and permanent raceway damage. Bearings from the same batch are preferred for paired assembly.
5.2 Matching & Preload Instructions
Supplied as independent single bearings without factory pre-matching; DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem layout can be arranged on site. Light to medium preload is recommended for balanced speed and load conditions. Heavy preload is forbidden under continuous ultra-high speed to prevent thermal seizure.
Selection guide: ①Extreme ultra-high speed & light load engraving →15° model 7012 CDGB/HCP4A; ②Belt-driven spindle without shaft current risk →all steel series 7012 CE/P4A; ③Heavy cutting & high rigidity demand →25° ACE series; ④Higher batch consistency required →GB premium selected version.
5.3 Lubrication Matching Solutions
No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is mandatory for long continuous high-speed operation. Special high-speed spindle grease is only permitted for short intermittent low-speed running. Install high-precision filters on oil circuit to guarantee lubricant cleanliness; hard contaminants will scratch ceramic ball surfaces. Do not mix lubricants of different brands or grades.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
Limiting DN speed is lower than 15° CD hybrid ceramic model and higher than 25° ACE hybrid ceramic bearing. Reserve sufficient speed safety margin under continuous medium load; avoid prolonged operation near limiting speed.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly; gradually increase to rated speed only after temperature rise and vibration stay stable. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; front spindle dust sealing cannot be omitted.
Maintain continuous supply of clean lubricant and avoid dry friction caused by oil shortage. In case of abnormal heating, persistent noise or sudden vibration change, inspect sequentially: oil supply & lubricant cleanliness, excessive preload, assembly coaxiality, dust seal condition, cutting load. Strictly control impurity content in lubricant to protect ceramic rolling elements.
