Full Product Attributes
Contact form: Two-point contact
Number of rows: Single row
Pairing property: Loose single unit without factory pairing label; face height sorting required before on-site DB/DF/DT assembly
Precision class: P4A ultra-precision grade
Material: Inner ring, outer ring and rolling elements made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel (all-steel bearing)
Seal structure: Open type, non-sealed
Note: ACE 20° contact angle targets high-speed applications. It achieves higher limiting speed and lower frictional heat at high speed than 25° ACD series. GB enlarged steel ball design increases basic load rating and resistance against intermittent cutting impact, balancing high speed and medium cutting load. All-steel structure has no insulation performance and is not recommended for built-in motor spindles with obvious shaft current, better suited for belt-driven spindles. Open design is dedicated to oil-air lubrication, not suitable for long-term sealed grease operation. Supplied as single bearing. Spindle builders must complete face height sorting for multi-bearing arrangement and cannot directly replace factory pre-matched sets.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7013 ACEGB/P4A adopts standard 7013 mounting dimensions, ACE 20° high-speed contact angle and GB reinforced large steel ball configuration. Inner and outer rings are made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel with stabilized heat treatment, multi-stage aging and ultra-precision mirror raceway grinding. Rolling elements undergo strict dimensional grouping and surface polishing to reduce spin friction at high speed.
Compared with standard ACE version, GB larger balls optimize contact ellipse, lower contact stress and improve load capacity and fatigue life. The 20° contact angle reduces axial component force, suppresses temperature rise and expands available DN range. All-steel construction delivers good mechanical impact resistance, yet higher mass results in lower limiting speed and poorer thermal performance than equivalent hybrid ceramic bearings. Single-unit supply enables flexible front & rear support layout design for spindle manufacturers.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. ACE 20° high-speed optimized contact angle: Low friction loss at high speed, higher limiting speed than 25° contact angle series, suitable for prolonged continuous high-speed operation.
2. GB all-steel reinforced large rolling element structure: Higher load rating than standard ball design, optimizes contact stress distribution and withstands intermittent cutting impact.
3. P4A ultra-precision grade: Strict control of rotational runout to maintain long-term machining accuracy of spindles.
4. Open non-sealed structure: Eliminates extra heat caused by seal drag, fully compatible with oil-air forced circulation lubrication.
5. All-steel construction: Excellent impact resistance, cost advantage compared with hybrid ceramic bearings.
6. Independent single-unit supply: No bundled spacers; machine builders can freely select DB, DF or DT layout and design preload spacers independently.
4 Main Application Fields
4.1 Belt-driven high-speed machining centers and mold engraving-milling spindles
Equipment requiring high rotating speed, medium cutting load without obvious shaft current risk.
4.2 Precision compact internal & external grinders, tool grinder spindles
Long-duration high-speed precision finishing scenarios.
4.3 General high-end machine spindle modules with cost-controlled all-steel bearing solution.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4A ultra-precision all-steel bearings must be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Apply controlled thermal mounting with limited heating temperature; open flame heating is prohibited. Avoid violent striking of bearing rings to prevent indentations on raceways.
For multi-bearing support arrangement, on-site face height sorting and matching are mandatory. Random assembly without sorting leads to uneven load, vibration and local overheating.
5.2 Pairing & Preload Instructions
Supply condition: Independent single bearing without pairing marks, spacers excluded.
Available layout: DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem.
Recommended preload: Light preload for high-speed finishing; medium preload acceptable for cutting loads. Avoid continuous heavy preload operation at maximum speed.
Selection reference:
① Built-in motor spindle with shaft current, priority on low heat & high DN → choose HC hybrid ceramic series
② Belt spindle, medium cutting load, cost control →7013 ACEGB/P4A (all steel)
③ Matched set for large unidirectional axial load → select corresponding factory pre-matched DT bearing
5.3 Lubrication Matching Scheme
No pre-filled lubricant. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is preferred for long continuous high-speed operation. Fully synthetic high-speed spindle grease can only be used temporarily for short intermittent commissioning. Install high-precision filter in lubrication circuit to maintain medium cleanliness; hard contaminants will initiate fatigue spalling on raceways and balls. Do not mix different brands or types of lubricants.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
The 20° ACE contact angle offers good high-speed capability. Due to higher mass of all-steel rolling elements, limiting DN is lower than hybrid ceramic equivalents. Complete cooling system and sufficient speed safety margin are required for continuous full-speed operation.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly. Do not increase speed to rated level until temperature rise and vibration remain stable. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; effective dust sealing must be arranged on bearing housing.
Maintain continuous supply of clean lubricant to avoid dry friction damage caused by oil shortage. In case of continuous abnormal noise, overheating or sharp vibration increase, inspect sequentially: lubricant cleanliness, preload setting, assembly coaxiality, bearing matching accuracy and external cutting impact load. Monitor operating temperature regularly to detect early signs of contact fatigue and surface pitting.
