Full Product Attributes
Contact form: Two-point contact
Number of rows: Single row, supplied as DB back-to-back matched set of two bearings
Pairing property: Factory face-ground DB back-to-back set with controlled face height deviation. Splitting will invalidate factory matching precision.
Precision class: P4 precision grade
Material: Inner rings, outer rings and rolling elements made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel (all-steel bearing)
Seal structure: Open type, non-sealed
Note: The 20° CE contact angle is a balanced specification, offering higher axial rigidity than 15° CD type and superior limiting speed compared with 25° AC type, suitable for most high-speed finishing and general cutting conditions. For DB back-to-back arrangement, load lines diverge outwards, expanding equivalent support span. It achieves outstanding resistance against overturning moment and bidirectional axial loads, far better than DT tandem layout. Ideal for conditions with radial loads, alternating axial thrust and spindle tilting moment. All-steel design brings cost advantages versus hybrid ceramic bearings, without the brittleness limitation of ceramic balls, tolerating mild cutting impact. Open construction supports oil-air forced lubrication and long-term high-speed grease sealing. Integral assembly is recommended; arbitrary splitting and mixing may trigger unbalanced preload, excessive vibration and uneven temperature rise. Standard A-type brass cage delivers mature and stable performance for continuous operation within regular speed range.
2 Structure & Operating Characteristics
Japan NMT 7013 CE/P4ADGB is premium all-steel DB back-to-back twin matched precision spindle bearing of 7013 series with 20° contact angle. Inner and outer rings adopt high-carbon chromium bearing steel with stabilized heat treatment and aging process; raceways are processed by multi-stage ultra-precision mirror grinding. Equipped with standard outer-ring-guided solid brass cage for smooth rotation and stable friction property. All steel rolling elements provide good toughness and withstand mild cutting impact.
20° contact angle balances rotational speed and axial stiffness. Factory synchronized face grinding for DB back-to-back set makes load lines spread outward to enlarge support span. The spindle maintains stable performance under combined radial loads, bidirectional axial force and overturning moment. All-steel structure eliminates the brittleness risk of ceramic rolling elements and expands applicable working range. Open design removes extra drag heat from seals, enabling long-term stable operation with proper lubrication system. Factory pre-matching omits on-site bearing selection and face grinding work, reduces assembly cumulative error and shortens spindle assembly cycle.
3 Core Performance Advantages
1. CE 20° balanced contact angle: Balances limiting speed and axial rigidity with wide compatibility for milling and grinding processes.
2. DB factory back-to-back twin pre-matched set: Divergent load lines increase equivalent support span, strong anti-overturning capacity and capable of bidirectional axial loads for alternating thrust conditions.
3. P4 precision grade: Strictly controls axial and radial runout to sustain stable machining accuracy of CNC equipment.
4. All-steel rolling elements: Good toughness to endure mild impact loads, lower procurement cost than hybrid ceramic bearings with mature maintenance scheme.
5. A-type standard solid brass cage: Robust construction, low operating vibration, suitable for continuous high-speed operation.
6. Open non-sealed structure: Eliminates frictional heat from seals, compatible with oil-air forced lubrication and high-speed grease lubrication.
5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines
5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards
P4 precision matched bearings should be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Apply controlled thermal mounting; direct open-flame heating is prohibited. Do not strike bearing rings to avoid indentations on raceways and rolling elements. Integral assembly of DB twin set is recommended; splitting and random matching with other bearings are discouraged.
5.2 Pairing & Preload Instructions
Supply condition: Two bearings integrated as factory DB back-to-back matched set with exclusive marking, integral assembly preferred.
Layout: Standard DB back-to-back installation, wide faces of two bearings opposite each other.
Reminder: DB layout excels at bidirectional load and anti-overturning performance. For long-term continuous unidirectional heavy axial load, DT tandem matched set is a better option.
Recommended preload: Light preload for high-speed finishing; standard preload for general cutting with medium load; heavy preload should be avoided near limiting DN value.
Selection reference:
① Combined loads, bidirectional axial force, large overturning moment →7013 CE/P4ADGB DB all-steel twin set
② Long-term continuous unidirectional heavy axial load →7013 CE/P4ADT DT all-steel twin set
③ Heavy unidirectional ultra-heavy load, three-bearing layout →7013 CE/P4AH1DGA DGA all-steel triple set
④ Built-in motor spindle with shaft current risk, demand for lower high-speed temperature rise →7013 CE/HCP4AH1DGB hybrid ceramic DB twin set
⑤ Light load ultra-high speed, prioritize rotational speed →15° CD contact angle series bearings
⑥ Ultra-heavy bidirectional axial load, rigidity priority →25° AC contact angle series bearings
5.3 Lubrication Matching Scheme
No pre-filled grease. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is preferred for continuous high-speed machining. Synthetic high-speed spindle grease with long-life sealing can be adopted for medium-low speed intermittent equipment. Install filters inside lubrication pipeline to guarantee oil cleanliness; hard contaminants will scratch raceway surfaces. Mixing of different types or brands of lubricants is forbidden.
5.4 Speed Parameter Note
20° CE contact angle combined with steel balls achieves balanced speed and load capacity. Compared with ceramic bearings, it performs better against impact and suits working conditions with intermittent cutting shock. Complete cooling system and sufficient speed safety margin are required for long-duration full-load high-speed operation to prevent overheating. Pay attention to installation direction for DB back-to-back assembly; wide faces of two bearings must face each other. Reverse installation will destroy designed force structure.
6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting
Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly, monitor temperature rise and vibration step by step. Increase speed to rated value only after all indicators stabilize. Open bearings have no built-in dust shield; external dust sealing must be arranged on bearing housing.
Supply clean lubricant continuously to prevent surface burning caused by oil starvation dry friction. When continuous abnormal noise, overheating or vibration surge occurs, inspect sequentially: lubricant cleanliness, preload magnitude, assembly coaxiality, whether matched set is split and mixed, external impact overload, bearing installation direction. Monitor operating temperature regularly to detect early failures such as raceway pitting, cage abrasion and rolling element damage.
