Number of rows: Single row, universal interchangeable single unit

Pairing property: GA universal match, same batch bearings support arbitrary DB/DF/DT assembly without exclusive pairing marks

Precision class: P4 super precision grade

Material: Inner rings, outer rings and rolling elements made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel (all-steel bearing)

Seal structure: Open type, non-sealed

Note: FE high-speed E geometry adopts optimized ball dimension, lowering high-speed dynamic friction and achieving better temperature control compared with standard designs. GA universal match offers flexible inventory management for machine manufacturers, supporting multiple spindle layouts without stocking various matched sets. Solid steel window cage provides sufficient rigidity, stable high-speed operation and good resistance against lubricant erosion. Open design eliminates seal drag heat and prioritizes oil-air lubrication. Difference versus factory pre-ground matched bearings: this unit is universal interchangeable without synchronized face grinding at factory. Uniform preload shims are required for multi-bearing assembly to stabilize preload magnitude.

2 Structure & Operating Characteristics

Japan NMT 7013 FEGA/P4A is premium all-steel universal match super precision angular contact ball single bearing of 7013 series with high-speed E design. Inner and outer rings adopt high-carbon chromium bearing steel with stabilized heat treatment and aging process; raceways are processed by multi-stage ultra-precision mirror grinding. Equipped with outer-ring-guided solid steel window-type cage for low dynamic drag and excellent vibration performance at high speed.

FE optimized rolling element geometry reduces spin friction under high rotation, delivering higher limiting speed than conventional CE specification under equal lubrication conditions. GA universal interchangeable match strictly controls dimensional dispersion within the same batch, enabling flexible bearing arrangement on site. All-steel rolling elements possess good toughness to withstand mild cutting impact and feature cost advantages over hybrid ceramic bearings. Open non-sealed construction removes extra heat sources, suitable for long-duration continuous high-speed finishing. Single-unit supply simplifies inventory planning for projects with multiple spindle configurations.

3 Core Performance Advantages

1. FE high-speed E optimized structure: Ball geometry dedicated for high-speed conditions, lower friction loss, higher limiting speed and superior temperature rise performance.

2. GA universal interchangeable match: Same batch bearings freely arranged into DB/DF/DT layouts, flexible stock management to suit various spindle structures.

3. P4 super precision grade: Strict control over rotational runout to sustain stable machining accuracy during high-speed cutting.

4. Solid steel window-type outer-ring-guided cage: High rigidity, outstanding anti-vibration capability, compatible with mainstream spindle oils and greases.

5. All-steel rolling elements: Good toughness to endure mild impact loads, better cost efficiency than hybrid ceramic bearings.

6. Open non-sealed structure: No frictional heat generated by seals, perfectly matched with oil-air forced circulation lubrication.

5 Assembly Specifications & Usage Guidelines

5.1 Assembly Environment & Operation Standards

P4 precision bearings should be assembled in constant-temperature dust-free clean workshops. Remove all burrs and metal debris on shaft and housing mating surfaces. Apply controlled thermal mounting; direct open-flame heating is prohibited. Do not strike bearing rings to avoid indentations on raceways and rolling elements.

Reminder: Universal match single bearings without factory synchronized face grinding. Preload spacers or shims must be used to control preload force for multi-bearing assembly; cannot directly replace factory pre-ground matched bearing sets.

5.2 Pairing & Preload Instructions

Supply condition: Loose single unit with no pairing marks.

Available layout: DB back-to-back, DF face-to-face, DT tandem; twin, triple and four-bearing configurations are all supported.

Selection tips:

Working conditions with large overturning moment and alternating bidirectional axial loads → DB back-to-back layout;

Long-term continuous unidirectional heavy axial load → DT tandem layout;

Prioritize high axial rigidity under low-to-medium speed heavy load → DF face-to-face layout.

Recommended preload: Light preload for high-speed finishing; standard preload for general cutting with medium load; heavy preload shall be avoided near limiting DN value.

Selection reference:

① Flexible arrangement required, unified stock for multi-model spindle projects →7013 FEGA/P4A universal match single unit

② Fixed twin DB layout, pursue easy assembly without shim selection →7013 FEGA/P4ADGB factory matched set

③ Risk of shaft current inside motor spindle, demand higher speed and lower temperature rise →7013 FEGA/HCP4A hybrid ceramic single unit

④ Balance of speed and axial rigidity for conventional cutting →7013 CE/P4A standard 20° single bearing

5.3 Lubrication Matching Scheme

No pre-filled grease. Oil-air forced circulation lubrication is preferred for continuous high-speed machining. Synthetic high-speed spindle grease with long-life sealing can be adopted for medium-low speed intermittent equipment. Install precision filters inside lubrication pipeline to guarantee oil cleanliness; hard contaminants easily scratch mirror-finished raceways. Mixing of different brands or base oil types of lubricants is forbidden.

5.4 Speed Parameter Note

FE high-speed E geometry achieves lower dynamic friction, outperforming standard angular contact bearings under high rotational speed. Complete efficient cooling system and sufficient speed safety margin are required for long-duration full-load high-speed operation to prevent overheating. Open bearings have no built-in dust protection; external dust sealing must be installed on bearing housing.

6 Daily Maintenance & Fault Troubleshooting

Carry out multi-stage low-speed running-in after assembly, monitor temperature rise and vibration step by step. Increase speed to rated value only after all indicators stabilize. Inspect external dust sealing regularly as open bearings have no internal dust shield.

Supply clean lubricant continuously to prevent surface burning caused by oil starvation dry friction. When continuous abnormal noise, overheating or vibration surge occurs, inspect sequentially: lubricant cleanliness, consistency of preload shim thickness, assembly coaxiality, bearing installation direction, external impact overload, dust intrusion into raceway. Monitor operating temperature regularly to detect early failures such as raceway pitting, cage abrasion and rolling element damage.
